I bought a pair of these when they first came out a couple of years ago and always saved them for my `` dress '' shorts. I always looked forward to wearing them as they are the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned. I finally decided to replace my lined Breeze shorts with the active breeze shorts because they are just so much more comfortable than the Breeze short. The extra comfort comes from the difference in the waste band. The old Breeze short had a typical stretch liner but the new active breeze short has more of smooth band where you do n't feel the waist band against the skin, you dont actually know you are wearing them.

I wore these for the first time on a 7 mile run today and I decided mid- run to order another pair as soon as I got home. These are my favorite new running leggings for warmer weather! I had gels and keys in the side pockets and phone in the back pocket and everything was super secure, the leggings did n't ride down or move during the run at all, which I find usually happens with a phone pocket. I wish I had these for the half marathon I ran last week! I love that I do n't need to wear a running belt with these since they hold so much. The leggings are super comfortable, flattering, and did n't need any stretch or wear- in period. I 've tried many pairs of cropped running leggings over the years and they either do n't have pockets, pockets are n't big enough, they ride down, the thigh band is too tight, etc.- these do n't have any of those issues!

These are my favourite shorts to run in. They are comfortable and do n't ride up. The pockets are wide enough to fit my phone in and it gives me confidence that my keys and phone are secure. I ran an ultra marathon( 40 miles) in these and I had no problems. I tried and tested a few brands before I found these shorts( others rub or ride up). [ These shorts are my new go to for my casual running. It ’s currently winter where I am so pretty cold but I still wear shorts while running on warmer days. I will be wearing them full time as soon as spring gets here. They are comfortable and very breathable. I enjoy the thin fabric but thicker liner on the under layer. The band around my waist provides control for the areas of my belly that aren ’ t fully toned. There ’s a small pocket in the back to clip phone or headphones, what have you. The design on them is just enough without being loud. I like a darker short. These have the perfect cut along the thigh so not to rub and cause friction while running.

[ These are the times that I wished I lived in a warmer climate. The Brooks Chaser 3 '' Short 2. 0 are everything I want in a short. Soft fabric, cute design, cut to not creep, plenty of pockets! Unfortunately, it's winter, so they have n't been my go- to due to weather. I 've tested them out during my limited indoor workouts, but they have n't let me down. I love the big back pocket to fit my ID and a locker key. The backside also had a dependable zipper pocket which will be useful on longer runs this spring/summer/fall. The waistband is a bit wider, which I personally really like and has a hidden drawstring if needed. I 'm currently 31 weeks pregnant and it fits comfortably under my belly because of the stretchy fabric. Looking forward to a lot more use in the coming months!

LOVE THESE! Feels like they 're barely there and they 're not super high rise like a lot of shorts. The material is very light and breathable, LOVE IT! [ These breakaway shorts are great for running. Instead of shorts or pants sticking and chafing my skin on each stride, these just float away and move with each leg. This lets me think about the run and anything else instead of having the friction from fabric on my mind. I think this lets me run more and makes runs more enjoyable because of that lessened mental load. It's very bright and yellow, which is great when I 'm running. The fabric is very thin and lightweight. It's not quite see through, but something to be mindful of. At this short length of a short, I guess it's not much of a concern for wearers. I 'm going to keep this review short so I can get back out in these shorts and start another run!

I normally don ’ t write reviews. But these are by far some of the most comfortable and flattering running shorts I ’ ve worn in a long time! I ’ m 5 ’ 5 ” 115lbs and the XS was perfect. Waistband just right, not too tight or loose, and the rise is in- between typical mid- rise and high- rise so I don ’ t feel like I ’ m having to roll them down or pull them up to be flattering.
