I love these ones specifically because they ’ re form fitting and flattering( they hide the mom pouch!) and they ’ re very comfortable. They ’ re size accurate and come down to a nice length for biker shorts, they ’ re not too short and seem appropriate for most situations especially during the summer since there ’s no pattern/giant logo so you could easily dress them up with a longer dressier shirt or pair with any shirt to go work out. I bought the salmon pink color in S. It's very eye- catching and bold and probably you should to pair it with a white or gray top. I love the pockets with zippers, which make this product similar to much more expensive branded shorts. I have not washed them yet; let's see how they last this summer. Warning that the shorts are true to size. The S is ideal for at most a 30- 31 '' waist. It would probably be best on a 29 '' I 'd say. The inseam of 7 '' is just right since the 5 '' version from VRST is kind of like underwear in my opinion.

I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. I ’ d recommend going a size up because they do fit slightly small but also because of the slit in the leg it would be easy to get away with going true to size if you are fine with a tighter waist band.

I will be wearing them full time as soon as spring gets here. They are comfortable and very breathable. I enjoy the thin fabric but thicker liner on the under layer. [ These are the times that I wished I lived in a warmer climate. The Brooks Chaser 3 '' Short 2. 0 are everything I want in a short. Soft fabric, cute design, cut to not creep, plenty of pockets! Unfortunately, it's winter, so they have n't been my go- to due to weather. I 've tested them out during my limited indoor workouts, but they have n't let me down. I love the big back pocket to fit my ID and a locker key. The backside also had a dependable zipper pocket which will be useful on longer runs this spring/summer/fall. The waistband is a bit wider, which I personally really like and has a hidden drawstring if needed. I 'm currently 31 weeks pregnant and it fits comfortably under my belly because of the stretchy fabric. Looking forward to a lot more use in the coming months!

For more experienced runners, you begin to notice that longer lengths shorts become obtrusive and somewhat restrictive. I found myself typically running in an old pair of 5 ” PT shorts that I got issues from the Navy. I thought 5 ” was sufficient. Then I tried a pair of the 3 ” breakaways and my goodness, what a difference. These 3 ” breakaways make you feel faster, stronger, and they look stylish. I love this kind of short! They are perfect for a jog at the gym or a stroll on the beach. I love the inner spandex liner that comfortably adapts to your build. The outer flexible fabric seems to be resistant to water and is easily dryable.

The shorts might run a little small. I tend to wear the L pants but got the XL shorts and they work well for me. I like the internal liner, but still wear by boxer briefs with them. I really need to try them without the boxes and see how they work. The pockets are a good size, but anything in them will swing as you run or walk fast. the draw string come in handy to tie the shorts off and hold them up.

Run with the wind
The shorts are made well with quality materials. Their is a draw string. I really like the phone pocket on the inner lining. Keeps a good hold on your phone or keys while you work out. I would recommend this product for running, basketball or just hanging out.
