I got this hat in store and after wearing it probably 4 days in a row I went online to buy it in black too. I always wear my hair in a ponytail or a messy bun and this hat has a big enough space in the back for either, while also being a little higher than where the hole would typically be on a hat for your ponytail to go through. The material is breathable and could look sporty or cute with just a regular outfit bc there aren ’ t any big logos on the hat. Some of my adidas or Nike hats look too sporty for an every day outfit or casual dress, but not this one. I will probably end up getting more colors, which is always a sign that I really like something. It ’s also very comfortable and doesn ’ t give me a headache like some other stiffer hats. I love this hat!!! It is my favorite Sunday Afternoons and I have many others. The only negative is it runs a little small. One Size. After stetching out the elastic band by pulling on it hard repeatedly, it fits comfortably. My head measures 22 1/4 '' around. Now I love it. Good sunblock and better looking than some of the others. I bought the cream with the black band. I would buy the blue and black too but I hate the multi print on the inside of the brim. If they came in plain black on the underside like the cream, I would buy both other colors. Why the multi print? Looks old- ladyish! Please offer all colors with a plain black under side of brim!!! An addendum to my review the black hat should have either solid black trim or back and white, like black and white stripes on the band with black solid under brim for shade protection. The red multi print is aweful!!!

As a unstructured hat, It never gets wrinkled, unlike many other hats out there. I wear it to work, and just toss it in my backpack along with everything else. Even though it is very light, do n't underestimate the protection that it provides from from the sun, not the quality of the product. I hope Mission continues to make these hats, as I will keep buying them. I like it so much, I have already bought another!

Second, my kids are able to get great sun coverage with comfort. In the past most of the hats they wore had brims in the back too. [ I was in the market for a serious summer sun hat instead of the cheap ones available at all of the big box stores. After much research I decided on Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure Hat. I received it and I 'm lovin' it! The first thing I noticed was the air I could feel circulating on the top of my bald head. Having vents on your hat are important, however, they usually allow burning sun rays to filter through. Usually I have to decide between being sunburned without a hat or hot with a hat. The Ultra Adventure hat has happily made that decision for me with its ultraviolet protection factor of 50+, including the mesh panels. No more polka dot sunburned head! Also, its so light weight you can forget you have it on. It is really the lightest hat I have owned. Its hard to believe it can do its job and be so light on your head. The downward sloping 3 ¼ ” brim shades my entire face and the cape keeps the sun off my neck, which is another great design feature. This hat gives protection to head, face, neck and ears without being obtrusive. Other features include a sunglass lock that holds your glasses in place. It works too. I have tried to shake my head to dislodge them and they stay put. Also, if taking a hat in a back pack is an issue for you, this hat folds in half at the brim and can be kept in your pocket. Without a doubt, this is the best hat on the market and worth every penny. I urge people to give this hat a try if you are shopping for the best hat out there.
