The pants are really price point perfect. The material and fit are as good as much higher priced outfits and if my wife is to be believed( I believe her) the pants are warm but not so bulky as to be uncomfortable.

[ I really like these and wear them while fat biking the winter. Now need for a bottom layer even down to 10 degrees while on the fat bike. They are tough I have scraped them on branches and stuff with out a mark.

[ I bought this pair for a backup to a pair I currently use on all my outings in the backcountry where I live. In this part of the country, it can get extreme and in the winter time, we use snowshoes most of the time because of the steep, rugged, and forested area. Flexibility for mobility is necessary for comfortable traveling conditions. The better I feel the farther I can go.

Went hiking in the Lake District and discovered my abisko tights were too large. Fortunately, I found a Fjallraven vendor and found these tights, which turned out perfect as I need a bit more insulation. I love the feel of these. They kept me warm on some pretty brutal days. They dry quickly. I am absolutely in love with Fjallraven tights, and these are a new favorite.
5
FjällFox
I think Fjällräven really succeeded it balancing the comfortability of tights with the durability required for trekking in forests. These are a perfect combination of the two- flattering and well fitting tights that hold up to the scuffing and scratching that comes with trekking through a natural environment. They still look brand new after several washes and many many treks. The added warmth is such a nice bonus!

[ These are great outdoor/hiking leggings! They are warm and seem durable so far. I live on the Northern California coast where it ’s cold most of the year. These leggings are perfect for exploring in! Love them:)

[ Love the way these pants fit! I always love the look of Fjallraven pants, but these aren ’ t as warm as I hoped. I ’ ve used them in lower temps( 20- 30 ’s F) and my legs are cold to the touch. I definitely have less expensive rights that keep my legs warmer.

[ Love these pants! Warm, fit well and water resistant. I used them recently for a 5 week trip in the arctic. They preformed well and held up great despite wearing them almost every day! They stretch well and so comfortable. 5' 5 '' 150#. Size 8 fit well, but not loose. Size up if you want a baggy fit.

These are the most versatile winter pants I 've ever owned. The combination of breathable and fleecy warm fabric makes them wearable while traveling and perfect for most any winter adventure when you arrive. I 've worn them cross country skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking, kayaking, and on the plane home. Layer on rain pants and and you' r good for almost any winter conditions. I also love them for camping, I thrown them on in chilly evenings by the campfire. The short version of these parts are fit me perfectly, the combination of fabrics are comfortable, and the cut is flattering and functional.

I use these pants when hiking and camping in cold/damp weather. The fleece liner feels so comfy against the legs, and the outer shell is durable. These pants are extremely flattering, but I am not a curvy girl... I 'm more straight- shaped. I could see why a curvy figure would have some issues with the waistband. I am in the outdoors all the time for work, and these are a go- to pair for me in the colder and shoulder months. I will be buying more.

I previously bought OR's Methow legging and loved them too, but these pants are even better. They are nice and stretchy, just like the Ferossi pants, but with fleece lining to keep you warm when cold weather hiking. I love the fit-- they have a slightly high waist, which was not obvious to me from the pictures, and I like that so much better than the low rise I find on most hiking pants. Another reviewer complained about the fit, but for me, a more curvy gal, the fit was perfect. I also love the side pockets, including one zippered one. They stretch a bit when wearing them so if you are between sizes, considered the lower size. I will definitely be ordering another pair and wearing these throughout the winter.

I absolutely positively love these pants. I am 511, weigh 180 and waist 33 inch. Mediums fit great. They keep me warm with temps down to teens with just a very light base layer underneath. Yet light enough that I can wear them with temps in the 60s and not feel overheated. Very comfortable. Great pockets. I own two pair, black and camo, and bought my daughter a pair of this past Christmas. I don ’ t need another pair, but good grief they ’ re on sale again in a color I don ’ t have. 🙄

The softshell material on these trousers is indeed thicker than the standard Keb Agile, and thicker still than standard Kebs. The brushed interior is softer than both Keb variants as well. Additionally, the softshell material runs the entire length of the trousers, and the G- 1000 panels are sewn over top of it; no more chilly knees! The boot hook is back, thankfully. I did have to go one size up from my usual, `` non- improved fit '' size of Keb Agiles. These really hit that sweet spot for winter activities, stoked to put them to the test in the mountains of New Hampshire this winter.

I bought the Keb Agile Winter Trousers in size 34 ” long for winter hiking in the Adirondacks of upstate NY. I ’ m 6 ’ 4 ” 200lbs and they fit beautifully. They are the perfect warmth for hiking in winter. You tall guys out there looking for 34/36 these 34 ” longs will fit you fine. Don ’ t miss out on these extremely comfortable well designed trousers, and don ’ t let the price scare you, I felt so secure in these at 5000 ft wet winter conditions, the design is perfect. Finally a well thought out option to late season mountain hunting pants for everyday that are worth the money. The comfort and functionality are spot on. Well done Fjallraven!! May I suggest more subdued color options?

[ These Gore- Tex pants fit the bill. They are lightweight, have a great fit, pack small, and allow for a base layer beneath if needed. Ice, snow, Zodiak rides, kayaking, these pants can take it all and keep you dry all the while. Would definitely buy again and recommend to others.

I use these leggings for running in cool to cold temperatures, and they do great with sweat management. The pocket is in a much better spot than the previous version so that they can be used to hold a phone or energy bar with minimal bouncing. They also do well in PNW wet weather, keeping my legs warm even when soaked through with rain.

Roberto
Predominantly a cold weather running pant, though I have used it for nordic skiing as well. I find the pant performs exactly as I hoped, meaning that I can run in above freezing temperatures without overheating, but do n't freeze at- 10C. Excellent fit, trim but not tight, great freedom of movement.

Pat
Very pleased. I 'm shorter/stockier( 5' 5 '' /170lbs) and the medium was great for me( 32 '' waist), although they fit a bit snugger than shown in the taller model on the website. VERY warm pants. I would have liked regular pockets as well, but the two side leg pockets work great for phone/keys. Great for shoveling snow or running and everything in- between!

This is my second pair of these pants. I think they are great. I use them all winter on mountain treks. Very comfortable and when it gets colder, I just layer with my merino wool underneath. I 'm 5- 7 '' and weigh 160#. And the mediums fit great.

When selecting hiking pants for cooler weather, consider features such as insulation, moisture-wicking properties, and wind resistance. Look for materials that provide warmth without adding bulk, and ensure they have breathable fabrics to keep you comfortable during physical activity. Additionally, features like adjustable waistbands and zippered pockets can enhance functionality.
Hiking pants for cooler weather are often made from materials like fleece, softshell, or GORE-TEX, which provide insulation and protection against the elements. Fabrics that incorporate synthetic blends can offer durability and moisture management, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable. It's important to choose materials that balance warmth with breathability.
Choosing the right fit for hiking pants in cooler weather involves considering both comfort and layering options. Look for pants that allow for freedom of movement while still being snug enough to retain warmth. Additionally, ensure that they can accommodate base layers without feeling restrictive, as this can enhance your overall comfort during hikes.
Yes, certain styles of hiking pants are better suited for colder conditions, such as insulated pants or those with a softshell design. These styles often provide additional warmth and protection against wind and moisture. It's also beneficial to consider pants with adjustable features, like cuffs and waistbands, to customize the fit for varying weather conditions.
