Purchased these for my son to wear at outdoor camp in the Pacific NW. It rained the entire camp session. He stayed dry in his rain pants.

5 Evie
The best pants for the snow month coming up. Comfy and stylish.

5 Adam M
My son was about to embark on a three day field trip with his elementary school, when the weather report turned grim. I needed a pair of rain pants for him badly. I saw Dick ’s had one pair his size left in stock for pick up at my nearby store. I went to the store and couldn ’ t find them. An associate and I were searching for a while with no luck. I was confident there had been an inventory error. When all the sudden another associate walked up and handed me the rain pants! Great job Dicks.

5 TravelMom
These are great rain pants and everyone in our family owns a pair of Columbia rain pants. We recently used them for a family trip to Iceland and they were the perfect outer layer to keep us dry in the rain and for hiking next to waterfalls.

I ’ m walking with my dog even rainy day so wear this pants is grateful not wet! This size is perfect fit me also. Usually hard fit short my legs but it good on me. Love it

5 Juhlski
This was a replacement pair for my old ones that had done me a good 10 years' service before the left zipper slide broke. I am 5' 2 '' and really appreciate Marmot making full- zip pants in `` short. '' Because I live in an arid region, I use these mostly in winter for backcountry ski touring, layered over a pair of thermal bottoms. Aside from my unfortunate experience with the previous zipper slide, I do like the robustness of the zipper teeth. The water repellency of the fabric needs to be renewed every once in a while with a spray- on product. I have never been wet on the inside. Good fit, relaxed legs( 5' 2 '', 125 lb. wear M- short). My inseam runs around 28- 29. ''

5 Abbey
Just moved to Juneau AK and boy is it wet. I knew within in a week that not having rain pants wasn ’ t an option. I got these for their short length and full zip capabilities to put on and off with my boots. Would definitely recommend and they hold up to the rain for sure

5 Nonnie Dee
I wore these walking the Camino del Norte in the pouring rain. They kept me warm and dry and were super light to pack.

Great fit. Great stretch. Great pockets And great length for tall girls.

5 Charlene J.
My fourth style of trousers and these are my favorite!! Long raw hem means I get to choose the length! One pocket stretchy and one pocket G1000... makes for sleek storage and style. My husband says the seat makes my fanny look fantastic. So stylish and functional! The move with my body do n't need a belt or constant adjustment. Durable where they need to be. True to size.

5 Ashley V.
Leggings are the only thing that I have ever been able to wear hiking/ backpacking until now. Although leggings are great to wear while hiking, they are sometimes not durable enough for parts of the trail, but they were the only pant that came up high enough on my waist and had room for my hips and thighs. The Nikka, however, does both AND they add much more durability and confidence to my hikes. They also have bigger pockets which allow more room for storage. The stretch fabric through the midsection and thighs make rock scrambling and uneven terrain much more comfortable than a regular hiking pant as well.

5 Jamie H.
These are the best pants I own for outdoor use. I love the fabric, fit, and the pockets! I was concerned about sizing. For reference I wear size 30 in the Levi 721 High rise skinny jeans and usually find jeans do n't fit my larger butt( gape at waistband). The size 40 fits me great. I also own the womens regular Vidda Pro's and prefer the fit of these pants.

5 Isabelle S.
So excited to finally have a pair of technical trousers that fits both my inseam and my hips! I 've struggled for years finding the right fit, and always had the issue of the pant seat being to tight. The Nikka Curved goes a little bit higher up on your hip, for me it sits at my true waist- immediately making these really nice and flattering. I love brining these on my spring and fall hikes around the North Shore in Minnesota.

I really like these joggers! I see complaints that they are short but that doesn ’ t bother me because I am 5 ’ 2 ”. The color is beautiful, they are super comfy and they remind me of vuori joggers. I feel like they ’ re going to work really well for traveling. I am always an XS and I ordered an XS. They are true to size.

These pants are true to size. They are very soft and very comfortable. They are thin and really feel like they are good temp controlled, meaning I wore them in cold weather as well as warmer weather and felt fine.

Finally! An amazing pair of black technical parachute pants. I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ” 155lb and normally a 8/10 or 29/30 waist pant. I ordered a M and a L to see which ones I liked best and ended up keeping both. The M is definitely more practical for hikes since it ’s less fabric but the L has a more balloon leg effect that is just really cool and oversized. The material is a bit thicker than I thought. I wish there was an additional side pocket but otherwise these are great!

[ I have a small waist and wide hips, and have a really hard time finding pants that fit. These do! I bought them in every color. Very comfortable. The cuffs can be opened up( adjustable draw cord), so you can wear them as a a regular wide leg pant or gathered at the bottom. They 're very flattering in the wide leg config for me.

5 Puji
[ I love the pants especially wearing them to outdoor hikes. Keeps you perfectly warm without sweating. The ease of movement is amazing and the pants are extremely flattering

5 Macy
[ Love these pants!! I ’ m 5 ’ 5 and 135lbs with an athletic body type and I struggle to find outdoor gear that fits my legs and waist properly. I purchased the XS and these fit like a glove/ feel like great quality. They are a little long on me and I ’ d definitely purchase more colors if they can out with a petite size. However, if you cinch the bottom, they are the right length, but it ’ d be nice to be able to wear them both ways.

5 King1215
[ As a tall/curvy outdoorsy girlie( 5 ’ 11 175lbs) it ’s really hard to find hiking pants that check the length, hips, and waist boxes. I find that most women ’s hiking pants are NOT built for my body. These however, are a win for me!!! They have become my favorite and go to hiking pants!

5 Maddee
[ Just bought these and received both pair yesterday. I got a size large and was worried they wouldn ’ t fit, I am a size 12/14 in jeans and have trouble finding good hiking pants for curvier girls. These are AMAZING! Very high quality material! Wore them out today to try them out and my thighs didn ’ t chafe even with the bagginess. Can ’ t wait to take them hiking in the Adirondacks! That will test the durability truly lol

After 250+ days of wear, I finally retired them- and bought another pair! Best investment ever. So happy with this purchase.

5 Lizzy
I LOVE these! I have three colors and intend to buy the black pair: I wore them all day and barely noticed they were there. Incredibly comfortable, and they were not overly constricting. I am obsessed with these.

5 KayBee
I wore these on a four night trip to the backcountry. They were incredibly comfortable and I loved the zippered pocket. By the third day, I did have to pull them up a bit but the drawstring came in handy. Our trip involved multiple water crossings and I found these tights dried quickly, which was a relief once temperatures dropped. I am 5 ’ 10 ” 155lbs and purchased a medium- great fit!

5 Kaaaaate
[ The stitching around the knees takes a little walking around to get used to, but once you do, these were quite comfortable to use. The large pockets were very handy for stashing a phone, and the reinforced butt and knees were great.

[ Does n't have the baggy bro- brah fit- thankfully. Still has enough room through the bottom leg for big boots and a gusseted crotch. Simple pant but well done, really all you can ask for.

[ I really like these and wear them while fat biking the winter. Now need for a bottom layer even down to 10 degrees while on the fat bike. They are tough I have scraped them on branches and stuff with out a mark.

5 Jeff
[ I used them for a week in the Cascades, an attempt on Mount Rainier in whiteout conditions and a successful summit of Mount Hood including a glissade on the way down. They were awesome!

5 Labwalk
Bought these for my husband as he finally wore out his previous pair. Some differences made over time but overall he's pleases with them.

5 dano99664
[ I bought this pair for a backup to a pair I currently use on all my outings in the backcountry where I live. In this part of the country, it can get extreme and in the winter time, we use snowshoes most of the time because of the steep, rugged, and forested area. Flexibility for mobility is necessary for comfortable traveling conditions. The better I feel the farther I can go.

[ These pants are great for hiking in wet weather! Slip them on over the shorts. For reference, 6' 1 '', slim build and pants were right at a good length for me( I usually get a 32 '' inseam). Do the job as intended. Got the matching jacket, both work great.

I am a woman and wear these pants for work. Super flattering even to a woman, when so many other khakis we have the option of buying are either too short or have legs that are just as wide as the thigh area, making it look like you have log legs. These are also durable and iron nicely.

5 Stephen
Bought every color because of the comfort. Loved the paramount pants but these pants take the wheel. They have that light tactical feel. Perfect for a hike, light or durable work attire, comfortable under waders, great for layering. They cut wind a little better than the paramount pants too.

5 5347
These pants are the best! I own every color now. Love the gusseted crotch. Pants are tough enough to cut firewood in, clean up nice enough to go to church in. Love 'em. I 've evangelized these pants to others and they share the same sentiment.

5 KR
[ Absolutely amazing pair of pants. They breath well, are comfortable, and are flexible enough to support a full range of movement. They are as formal as a pair of good looking jeans, but are just as comfortable as a pair of sweatpants. Perfect for the trail, work, or a meet up with friends. My only complaint is that `` short '' was not short enough and I had to go get them hemmed( a common problem for a short guy like myself).

I got these pants in the spring for field work( I work in environment). I ended up wearing them all summer and was impressed how well they handled bushwacking in thick forest and shrubs without getting shredded. The big pockets are very useful to keep your things within reach at all time. In the fall I went for a 5- day backpacking trip and I was absolutely impressed by their versatility. We had some hot days, and the vents allowed me to stay comfortable. We had a night of pouring rain and the next day everybody got their pants soaked by the wet vegetation. The G- 1000 fabric was just water repellant enough to keep me dry. Finally we went over a snowy mountain pass, and the hooks allowed me to tie the pants to my laces and keep the snow from getting into my boots. Overall the only thing these pants could n't handle was the darn chipmunk that chewed a hole through the pocket one night to get at the couple peanuts that were left in there!

5 Kacey R.
This was the first piece I ever owned from Fjallraven and remains the best pair of hiking pants I 've ever had. The first time I really used them, I was backpacking in the Sierras in the middle of summer and though I might use a lighter pair in that particular climate, the fact that I did n't feel like I was melting was huge. The side vents helped with heat management, and the durability of the fabric made me feel invincible! The more I use them, the more rugged they look and I just love that.

5 Makena B.
The Keb trouser is my favorite Fjallraven pant. I sometimes call it a technical sweat pant. It is THAT comfortable. These are my go- to pants for colder mountain biking temperatures and spring skiing. The botton system at the ankle makes for a good jogger style fit. Or you can loosen it up to fit over a bigger boot. Despite the two zipper vents I find that these trousers start to feel a bit too toasty for temps 65 degrees farenheit and warmer. Check out the abisko lite trekking trouser for a comparable style made with a lighter weight fabric.

5 Matthew A.
I ’ m hard on gear, especially clothing when in the mountains. After loving my first pair of Kebs, I bought a second and they ’ re quickly replacing most of my softshell- style mountain pants. The side zips are great for venting the legs on sunny days on the glacier. I ’ ve worn these through dumping snow and miserable rain and have never had an issue so long as you keep up with the water- proofing recommendations. The design is well though out with stretchy material for comfortable movement in spots and reinforced material where necessary for durability.

5 Alicia P.
Really loving these pants. Ordered them after having had a pair of the Vidda Pro for a while now and wanted to try a new style. Originally ordered the wrong size and love how easy and quick the exchange process was.

The keb trouser has become my go to year round outdoor trouser. I love pairing these with a base layer and adventuring in the cold months- snow shoeing and nordic skiing are well within the wheelhouse for these pants. Not to mention they are a stellar hiking pant.

5 Daniel O.
Super comfortable and very breathable. Everything you need in a pair of hiking pants.

5 Graham Douglas L.
Basically these are the best hiking pants you can buy. Super tough, super comfortable, amazing mobility. I have taken mine everywhere and in every type of conditions. I just can seem to destroy them haha. They keep me dry in most conditions as well. I love the burly g- 1000 fabric on the legs and seat, I use these in the back- country and off trail and have n't once ripped them of had and thorns etc get me. Amazing pants!

5 Jeromey F.
It took me a while to spend this kind of money on a pair of pants. Never have I done so, until hiking through mesquite brush, briar, and cacti became a daily ritual as part of my job. Where I am from, the temperatures are scorching during the summer, hitting heat index values of 108. I was skeptical about the G- 1000 being too hot for such weather but the Keb trousers have proven me wrong. I am very impressed with these pants. The lightweight fabric is perfect for keeping me cool and the G- 1000 protects me through the dense vegetation I usually go through. The ventilation zippers at the thighs and calves are amazing additions to help dump that excess heat. The range of motion is incredible in these pants, I am never restricted no matter how I move. I wish I had purchased these sooner! The Keb trousers were my first Fjallraven purchase, and they most certainly will not be my last! Thank you for making such an awesome, hardwearing, and breathable pair of pants!

5 Matthew H.
I remember when I bought my first Keb pants, thinking `` am I crazy for spending so much on pants?? '' but after wearing them for over a year, I was very happy I did. These pants are very versatile. I wearing them on hiking/climbing days, gardening, tree maintenance, and for general labor. I 've even worn them for cold weather running. For some weeks, they are all I wear. They are very durable, no rips/tears or issues. They breathe well, but still keep me warm on colder days. Perhaps not the best for heavy rain, but are great in all other conditions.

Hey they actually keep the wind/cold air out and have moderate breathability. Works as advertised. Elastic band fits me well although there is no draw string.

I use these leggings for running in cool to cold temperatures, and they do great with sweat management. The pocket is in a much better spot than the previous version so that they can be used to hold a phone or energy bar with minimal bouncing. They also do well in PNW wet weather, keeping my legs warm even when soaked through with rain.

5 Roberto
Predominantly a cold weather running pant, though I have used it for nordic skiing as well. I find the pant performs exactly as I hoped, meaning that I can run in above freezing temperatures without overheating, but do n't freeze at- 10C. Excellent fit, trim but not tight, great freedom of movement.

5 Pat
Very pleased. I 'm shorter/stockier( 5' 5 '' /170lbs) and the medium was great for me( 32 '' waist), although they fit a bit snugger than shown in the taller model on the website. VERY warm pants. I would have liked regular pockets as well, but the two side leg pockets work great for phone/keys. Great for shoveling snow or running and everything in- between!

5 Rod L
This is my second pair of these pants. I think they are great. I use them all winter on mountain treks. Very comfortable and when it gets colder, I just layer with my merino wool underneath. I 'm 5- 7 '' and weigh 160#. And the mediums fit great.

I wore these pants 32 days straight while walking the Camino Frances in Spain. They were terrific. East to hand wash at night yet be dry in the morning. Lightweight for hot Spanish sunshine yet keeping me warm in the morning. Easy to zip off when your exertions make you sweaty. My first impression was how comfortable and flexible they are with deep pockets, too. The G- 1000 panels add a layer of protection and durability, also making them great for field work- cutting and hauling wood and getting off trail through brush and brambles. They are my go- to outdoor pants that I never knew I needed until I had them.

5 Lia
Could finally buy these with the updated fit! Previously I had n't liked how tight the leg was with no room in hips/butt area. Tried them on in my regular size& they fit BOTH my waist and thighs well. I 'm 5'11, muscular, normally wear 30w pants, purchased a sz 10/euro 42. I 'm happy to have these for the winter, I commute by bike in the northeast and these have been a great durable option. 32 '' inseam keeps ankles covered!

I bought the Keb Trousers Curved W pants about a month ago, and I 'm very happy with this purchase. I really liked the original Keb Trousers, but always wanted a fit that was better for curvier women. These are the best fitting pair of pants I 've ever had, hiking or otherwise. I wear them everyday to work, and I often get compliments. If you want a durable, well made hiking pant with a great fit and fun colors-- this is your choice! Thank you Fjallraven. I now own 3 pairs in this fit.

5 Tuskegeejaz
I bought these for a trekking trip to Peru. They are now my favorite hiking/tracking pants. They are so comfortable, the pockets are amazing. And the venting options made them comfortable in Various temperatures. I am thinking about getting another pair. I often have issues with the waist gapping but not even a little bit with the curvy fit.

5 Go.Fish.Adventures
I bought these Keb Trousers as well as the Viddo Pro trousers and have kept them both! I love the extra leg and butt room compared to the normal sizing. I also can not thank you enough for giving the short/tall option with the leg length. One other reviewer mentioned this, but wanted to reiterate how much more fitted these are than previous version. I am 5 ’ 10 125lbs and have the old version in size 29 and was thinking of going a size smaller because they were pretty baggy. I ’ m glad I did not and stuck with 29, I consider them a good fit.

5 Tanya
Purchased these pants, that I have been looking at for some time, for Alaskan travels. I was able to wear them multiple times on rainy days and then the versatility of just touring. Made my packing list much smaller because they are so versatile. I am 5 ’ 6 ”, 57 years old and 138 pounds. I tried on both the 6 and the 8, both of them fit well and ended up keeping 8 so I could layer for warmth if I needed. Went with the 32 inch length because I like for the pant leg to extend, but the 30 inch would ’ ve worked too.

5 .
Tough material that will protect the skin, with just enough stretch panels and ventilation to be comfortable. My only complaint is I wish these were available in a curved style like the Keb. I sized up but getting them over my hips can still be a challenge. The fit once on is great though.

5 Kindra
[ I bought them for hiking and love them. They have all the perfect pockets and accessories attachments for outdoor adventures. The wax keeps the wet and cold elements repelled off. I use these in in Washington state during winter as well as on a trip to Spain. This is my second pair. I also own a Orange color which I love.

5 z4a
Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

Went hiking in the Lake District and discovered my abisko tights were too large. Fortunately, I found a Fjallraven vendor and found these tights, which turned out perfect as I need a bit more insulation. I love the feel of these. They kept me warm on some pretty brutal days. They dry quickly. I am absolutely in love with Fjallraven tights, and these are a new favorite.

5 FjällFox
I think Fjällräven really succeeded it balancing the comfortability of tights with the durability required for trekking in forests. These are a perfect combination of the two- flattering and well fitting tights that hold up to the scuffing and scratching that comes with trekking through a natural environment. They still look brand new after several washes and many many treks. The added warmth is such a nice bonus!

[ These pants are great and versatile, the fabric is lightweight but durable and feels extremely high quality. I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ” and the inseam is perfect as it hits the top of my hiking boots, not to mention the drawstring at the ankle makes it versatile when I ’ m wearing thicker wool socks.

When I got them, I immediately thought they ’ d be perfect for my mother- in- law, who loves hiking and travels to all sorts of unique destinations. After trying them on, she said they were incredibly comfortable and lightweight. She wore them on a hike, and afterwards, she mentioned that they were some of the most comfortable pants she ’s ever worn. The convertible design is a great feature, especially for fluctuating weather during hikes. The UPF 50 rating is a bonus, offering solid sun protection while still being breathable. Overall, we definitely recommend these pants to anyone who enjoys outdoor activities. They ’ re functional, comfortable, and perfect for any adventure!

They stretch well and so comfortable. 5' 5 '' 150#. Size 8 fit well, but not loose. Size up if you want a baggy fit.

5 Catb
These are the most versatile winter pants I 've ever owned. The combination of breathable and fleecy warm fabric makes them wearable while traveling and perfect for most any winter adventure when you arrive. I 've worn them cross country skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking, kayaking, and on the plane home. Layer on rain pants and and you' r good for almost any winter conditions. I also love them for camping, I thrown them on in chilly evenings by the campfire. The short version of these parts are fit me perfectly, the combination of fabrics are comfortable, and the cut is flattering and functional.

5 Banrai
I use these pants when hiking and camping in cold/damp weather. The fleece liner feels so comfy against the legs, and the outer shell is durable. These pants are extremely flattering, but I am not a curvy girl... I 'm more straight- shaped. I could see why a curvy figure would have some issues with the waistband. I am in the outdoors all the time for work, and these are a go- to pair for me in the colder and shoulder months. I will be buying more.

5 Rachel C.
I previously bought OR's Methow legging and loved them too, but these pants are even better. They are nice and stretchy, just like the Ferossi pants, but with fleece lining to keep you warm when cold weather hiking. I love the fit-- they have a slightly high waist, which was not obvious to me from the pictures, and I like that so much better than the low rise I find on most hiking pants. Another reviewer complained about the fit, but for me, a more curvy gal, the fit was perfect. I also love the side pockets, including one zippered one. They stretch a bit when wearing them so if you are between sizes, considered the lower size. I will definitely be ordering another pair and wearing these throughout the winter.

Bought these for a hike on Mount Ranier, and they performed exceptionally well. The weather was n't too hot( I 'm from Florida) that day, and I slipped and fell down a jagged set of rocks and they did n't tear at all, although my palm meat took a massive gash. I was honestly surprised that they held up, and the lifetime repair option was what got us to purchase them in the first place.

If you ’ re tall and slender you need these pants. I ’ m 6 ’ 4 ” 190- 200lbs and the 34 long fits absolutely perfect. More comfortable than any pants ive ever worn. I wear these multiple times a week and have multiple pairs now. they can totally fit in with a collared shirt and are acceptable in most work environments. They don ’ t look like technical hiking pants with an elastic waistband unless you really pay attention. I also wore them for multiple elk hunts this fall and they served me very well. Still look brand new and my hunting partners Sitka pants look like the loop side of Velcro from the same brambles and granite rocks we walked through. You don ’ t have to wear gaiters in most swampy or wet areas because of the drawstring at the cuff. Belt loops are big enough for a thick tactical belt and have additional loops for a carabiner or hand warmer pouch. They are very water resistant, don ’ t gain much weight when soaked through, and dry very quickly. They pack down to almost nothing and pockets serve as very effective vents — direct airflow to the gentleman parts. Perfect pants for hunting, backpacking, climbing. If you pair with a base layer they are perfectly fine for the winter, down to 0F at least. My only criticism is that they are not good around campfires or sparks. You will get a pinhole if a tiny ember lands on them. Buy the full g1000 pants if you are gon na be around a campfire or work environment with sparks.

Wearing these pants now. Very comfortable. Minimal stretch. Great fit and look for trail to city. Sizes slightly small so if you ’ re between sizes pick the larger size. Fabric is such that animal hair doesn ’ t get buried in the fabric. Nice water repellency for walking in the rain with dog. Final verdict is these pants are understated but technical enough for wear and tear. Get yourself a pair.

I am 5 ’ 4 ” 125lbs. The pants fit well, a little long, but hey I am a shorty, all pants are long on me. Pockets that are easy breezy for use of more than a stick of gum. Bottom of the pants fit over my hiking boots, nice cut. Overall very comfortable, I will use them for work and recreation.

The Coraje tech pant is both extremely comfortable and stylish.

I bought these pants to wear to school. They are super comfortable, and I love the color! I like the elastic waistband and don ’ t think it needs belt loops. I can ’ t wait to wear them to school, and look professional while feeling completely comfortable!

Fit very well, good for 5 ’ 10 ” people. Ideal for hiking and any other outdoor activity.

Great pair of pants both for outdoor activities and every day use. Love the color and the fabric!! Sizing runs small and pants run long so if you 're petite like me( 5' 4 '') you will likely need a hem. Great purchase!

[ I bought these based off the reviews. The reviews are spot on. These are great warm weather hiking pants. They are your typical/fancy plastic pants, so they will burn, tear and fail in time, but I knew this going into the purchase. Great cut for hiking boots. Not too sloppy around the ankles/footwear

5 Tanv
[ Fits well, a little on tighter side but loosens up when hiking. The fabric is interesting, it ’s somewhat softer than Patagonia Quandary pants( my other favorite). Only concern is the fabric seems to soak up moisture a bit more than I expected on damp days.

5 Creepydude
[ Used them during a week long backpacking trip in Yosemite. They did phenomenally going up and down the mountain. Lower warm elevations were no problem due to its breathability and high cold elevations were no problem once moving but easily fit some long John ’s underneath. The only down side is the zippered right leg pocket. It didn ’ t rain on my trip but I tested the water shedding in the shower. The zipper is a shire place for water to seep in during a downpour. Still love them though!

[ Quickly became my favorite pants. They are surprisingly breathable and stretchy. The zippered pockets kept my important things secured during a recent trip to an amusement park. I recently bought the shorts version too!

I am a search and rescue volunteer and climbing wall instructor who spends my time in Arizona and Washington state. Working in a wide range of environmental conditions requires that my gear does the same. I ordered the large Basin pull on pants, using Mountain Hardware ’s sizing guide, and I found them to fit true to size. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Basin Pull- On Pant while climbing and hiking in the sun and the rain. The DWR finish repels water and worked well during light rain while climbing. I also found the fabric to be surprisingly rugged while remaining breathable. My favorite feature is the rear zip pocket. I never want to risk losing my phone while climbing and the zip pocket always keeps my phone secure when I am moving on the rock. While the elastic waist with the adjustable internal draw cord took some getting used to, I have found it to be comfortable while having great range of motion and mobility. The Basin Pull- On Pants are a great all- around pant for climbing, backpacking, or spending time outdoors in a variety of conditions.

I am a rock climbing guide who guides across Colorado and Utah and its important for me to have gear that works well, is durable and looks professional. These pants are great! The sizing, though was tough. I 've previously owned the MHW Cedarberg Pull On Pant in a Large. Those pants I could barely pull over my butt. They fit the waist already but had very little stretch to pull on. This time around, I got an XL in the Basin Pull On and they are a bit too big. They do n't fall off but without the drawstring tied they are quite loose. I have a 35 '' waist and a 33 '' inseam. I wonder how a Large would fit... I enjoy this pants for climbing in as they provide a ton of movement. They fit nicely under the harness with the elastic waistband but the drawstring is a bit annoying with a harness. I am typically not a fan of `` drop in '' pockets because larger/heavier things tend to `` drop out '' but there is a zippered rear pocket which provides security for not loosing things. The straight leg design is great for movement and makes these comfy but they are tad bit too wide for my liking. Anyone who is looking for a comfortable climbing pant would be happy with these but they have less utility in the multipitch world due to the lack of thigh pockets.

I 'm a indoor climbing coach and instructor and an avid outdoor climber as well in the New England area when im climbing outside I need my pants to leave me with the ability to move and those pants knock that out of the park. These pants are fantastic. They are extremely durable and resilient against rocks and dust. On top of that the DWR finish the does an awesome job of being water resistant on rainy days and very flexible on normal dry crag days. The security pocket is a fantastic addition to all the features that the pants have to offer because when you need to take your ID with you on climbs ypu know it will be safely zipped away and not as easy to lose in the end. These pants can handle any scenario for any type of person. Great addition to my climbing gear!

As a climber, I need my pants to stretch, not bunch up under a harness and be comfortable. The Basin Pull- On Pants tick all those boxes. I love not having to try and fit a belt on with my harness, I love the weight, stretchiness, and durability of the pants, and I love that I can wear these around my house as glorified sweat pants. These pants are almost perfect. My only critique of these wonderous pantaloons is that they do n't have a zipper. If I 'm going to be wearing a pair of pants under a harness all day, as I often do, then I want an easier way to `` relieve myself '' than awkwardly wiggling my waistband from under my harness. I know this is a little picky, but I still love these pants and still give them 5 stars. Also, I 'm 5' 9 '' 165lbs. and the Mediums fit great.

5 Hawgow
I love these pants so much I ’ m that I own 4 pairs. Only thing I wish was that the lengthen was slightly shorter. 32 for regular fit is slightly too long. Other wise than that they are awesome. I think these are the only pants I wear. There is a nice amount of stretch and it drys super fast.
