The box style pattern stitching definitely resists pulls and tears from thorns/brush. Drawstring waistband is nice so you don ’ t have to wear a belt. It helps that the drawstring works great and holds well to keep the pants up for that high waist look. I like the unique drawstrings, not your basic black boring drawstrings. There ’s 2 pockets that are quite deep. I can fit anything in these pockets. There ’s an additional 2 large zippered pockets on the side as well, which I love because I can put my keys or wallet in my pockets without the worry of them slipping out of my pants without me noticing. There ’s a nice touch of design with the Jordan jump man logo on the zip as well, matte black. Looks sleek. The cinched cuffs on the bottom of the pants are great for showing off my kicks. Even if they are baggy and I ’ m short myself, I can still highlight my shoes in this fit because the pants sit right above my shoes. For context I am 5 ’ 3 ” 130 lbs with a small waist but a large bum. I ’ m a typical size SMALL in most all brands for both tops and bottoms. I originally purchased the size small and was dismayed at how large they were on me! But the length was perfect. I think ever since Mountain Hardwear was purchased by Columbia?, the sizing has become inconsistent. Luckily it seems that the quality of material is still there. I then purchased the XS. The fit seemed like it would be tight, but once I pulled it over my bum, fits comfortable and snug- however- the length is noticeably shorter- almost like “ petite ” sizing, which is disappointing. I will keep this pair though, as I mentioned, they are still good quality pants for winter!

I wore these pants 32 days straight while walking the Camino Frances in Spain. They were terrific. East to hand wash at night yet be dry in the morning. Lightweight for hot Spanish sunshine yet keeping me warm in the morning. Easy to zip off when your exertions make you sweaty. I did n't even bother alternating with the joggers from another brand, which quickly became my pajama bottoms for cold nights.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

I have never liked jogger pants even though I owned a few from various brands. Got these pants from OR and they are amazing. Comfortable, super stretchy but do n't lose their looks and shape, I even discovered while cleaning a stain I had made that the pains are fantastically water resistant and yet they magically remain breathable and very light. These have become my favourite pants by far. To be mentioned, I have climbed a few times with these and you can observe some minor scratches on the knees. This is to be expected so I do n't argue for the quality of the material, but still worth knowing that they are not magical paints, sadly:) I am from Europe and OR is not such a common brand to find. They convinced me with this product, since then I also have bought their Foray rain jacket, which is awesome.
