My first in dark olive is about 5 years old stood up well through outdoors work and chores got a bit bobbled but I gave it a shave not long ago and it looks as good as new. I have had this jacket for at least 2 years and it has held up well. I wear it throughout the year: at work( in the hospital), camping and just out and about. I wash it regularly and hang it up to dry. It still looks great with very minimal pilling. I would get another in a different color. I agree that it could be less itchy but I am not bothered by it. I have worn it layered under another jacket as well. For me, this is a great layering piece.

I am a bike packer and gravel rider. I underestimated how good this fleece would be on the bike. It breathes super well but is warm on the downhills. Conversely it is stylish at work. It is a base/ mid layer, not a bulky fleece. It ’s streamlined enough to wear on a bike or running. I can see this as a base layer for skiing this winter and nordic ski adventures. It ’s light enough to come along backpacking or bike touring.
