I was fortunate enough to be able to grab this when it was half price and I 'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as shown. The inside has a beautifully soft fleece layer. I also like that it has a loop near the tag inside for easier hanging. I often wear a size large in most women's clothing, but this was described as being a little bit of a loser fit and I would definitely agree with that. And I feel like it fits well while even having a little roof to spare, which is great for when I want to wear layers. I also like that it's a little bit longer in the back, so if you 're wearing leggings and would like to cover up a little bit more, this offers a little more coverage. Coverage. There are two good size pockets in the direct front on either side of the jacket and it has a zipper closure. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend going a size down from your normal size.

You can wear in in the 50 ’s unzipped without getting too hot, and I ’ ve worn it in mid 30 ’s drizzle comfortably. Any cooler than 30 degrees and you ’ d probably want to throw on a fleece underneath. The Sherpa is a very nice touch, and I love the hood. This coat is more comfortable than my previous coat, time will tell if it also lasts me 20 years.

They state it on the tag and it ’s a 100% true that grid fleece technology keeps you dry and comfortable and warm. Is it a coat you should wear in the snow, probably not, but if it ’s a bit windy and chilly this is the hoody for you! Biggest complaint about most woman wear is the lack of pockets, but Marmot has you covers with two exterior pockets with zippers to keep your items from falling out and two interior pockets, one on either side. The zipper may not seem like a big deal to some people but the have some very functional sturdy zippers that you don ’ t have to worry about breaking or skipping a tooth. Once again this is a beautiful athletic dress up casual hoody that will fit for many occasions wether on the run in the park or a stroll down town on a chilly fall date!

I bought based on the actual measurements of the jacket. I have a medium that is 22 '' in the chest. I usually wear L or XL in women's clothes, I 'm happy w this choice bc the jacket is a little more fitted which is good given the weight and bulk. The other thing I wondered was whether it stretches. I ’ ve had this amazing jacket for 3 years now so I feel qualified to review it. It is, as are all Fjallraven products, built to heirloom, durable quality. I ’ ve worn it.. a lot…in many weather situations and it still looks brand new! Regarding others reports that it is “ stiff ” …this is only relative to other, less robust fabrics. Example, I have the Kaitum jacket also, which is considerably lighter and more flexible but also isn ’ t quite as warm and wind impermeable. I found the sizing to be pretty true to size. I scored mine on an end of season sale and literally couldn ’ t be happier. Would ’ ve been worth every penny at full price! I wear this in winter with a long sleeve shirt and in fringe seasons and it rocks em all. I ’ d buy with confidence!

[ I just want to let any know that is looking at these, that they are the best. I have a green one that I have had for over 12 years and I even bought it used. I still have it and its one of my go to jackets. I just bought a new one this year and the only reason I bought a new one is because my wife claimed the green one as hers. I have the 12v system for all day riding on my Goldwing. I use this for days when I am off and on the bike a lot because I do n't have to worry about extra wires. Also great for motorcycles that do n't have a large enough electrical system plus other non- riding adventures. Typically using the lower power modes I all day warmth. I have an extra battery that I also carry and rarely need to use it. Wear it as a thermal layer under a coat for max protection and warmth. At times I will even wear it around the house instead of turning up the thermostat. I have the fleece vest version too.

This is my second Gerbing Fleece product. My first was a 7V fleece heated sweater/jacket from Cabela's( made by Gerbing) which is still working great after 4 years. My new Gerbing Gyde Zenith Fleece Heated Jacket? Outstanding! This one has 4 heat levels instead of three and a larger capacity battery which is a welcome improvement. This heated jacket fits well, is well made and while I tried the highest heat setting just for fun, I doubt I will need to use high very often. This thing puts out some serious heat. For all day outdoor adventures, I would recommend buying a couple of extra batteries. I did. I would n't hesitate recommending this to anybody.

I love all of Fjallraven's stuff, and this item is no different. The wool makes a difference in the warmth level. Wearing this with a light puffer in the teens is still a warm experience. I 'm a large in their jackets and the medium fit for this fleece, but the large was more comfortable and still flattering. I 'm 5' 6, 145lbs curvy. Love this!

I have had this jacket for at least 2 years and it has held up well. I wear it throughout the year: at work( in the hospital), camping and just out and about. I wash it regularly and hang it up to dry. It still looks great with very minimal pilling. I would get another in a different color. I agree that it could be less itchy but I am not bothered by it. I have worn it layered under another jacket as well. For me, this is a great layering piece.

Love how they have you put in your height and weight for the right size. When I first opened it the jacket was so light I thought there was no way it would keep me warm but I was wrong. The Omni heat for me is a 10 out of 10. Now they need some more glove options with Omni heat.

I was initially nervous when I purchased the Stina Fleece because it was the first fleece I would own without a hood. That nervousness dissipated as soon as I started wearing it! The fleece is comfortable but not bulky because of it's silhouette and it has mesh pockets for breathe- ability when I am on trails. The only thing I do n't like is the pockets... they 're mesh netting which does nothing to keep your hands warm and I 'm really confused as to why they would n't make the pockets out of a warmer material?

Solid layer that keeps the wind off of you, the waffle grid fleece on the back allows for breathability when exerting yourself physically. Thumb loops are a small detail but very valuable. If you need more warmth out of a layer like this I 'd recommend the Keb Fleece Hoodie and it would n't be a bad idea to have both in your closet!
