My wife would have kept the jacket, but she felt that the sleeves were to tight compared to her North Face jacket that it was going to replace. We would have exchanged it for the next size up, but she was afraid that the sleeve length and body would be to big. I had so many questions about this jacket when buying online and not having the opportunity to try it on first. The first question was sizing bc I read reviews saying it was too big. I bought based on the actual measurements of the jacket. I have a medium that is 22 '' in the chest. I usually wear L or XL in women's clothes, I 'm happy w this choice bc the jacket is a little more fitted which is good given the weight and bulk. The other thing I wondered was whether it stretches. People said it was stiff, and it is. I 'm assuming it might loosen up w wear over time. There is some stretch in the jacket and it is the perfect amount to wear this jacket more fitted.

Amazing. Such a great jacket; it ’s lightweight, breathable, good for active use, feels extremely well made, and has a great fit. At 6 ’ 1, 165lbs, the medium felt tailored. The octa lining is done fantastically. Pertex and octa are both some of the best durable, lightweight, and breathable materials and pair amazingly well. Construction is some of the best I ’ ve seen; very heavy duty dual use zipper that works like butter is amazing to see on such a lightweight garment. Dual chest pockets also clutch and super practical if wearing harnesses. Hand pockets have sync and keychain holders, and feel great to use in a more casual environment. Octa is like super synthetic cashmere, extremely well insulating. This jacket I think can work in any environment from below freezing to upper 60 ’s with proper layering. Simply one of the best jackets of all time imo.
