Great product- I am a beginner with kettlebells, and the SelectTech 840 meets my needs well- good range of weights to start out with. Easily adjustable, good quality. Kettlebells are proving to be a way to get a wide range of exercise in- cardio and strength- and all- around benefits. I can adjust the kettlebells to relatively low weights as I am learning new movements and build from there. I bought two for when two are either needed or easier. Then I recommended them to a friend and to a family member- both of whom also bought them. Great product!( PS: age selection below stops at 37+. I 'm way over 37- these are great for older people-- 60+, let's say-- too.)

I purchased 2x5lbs additional weights for$ 10. Handle is super comfortable. Cons: I wish replacing the weights was a little easier/faster, however I exercise at my own pace and I do n't need to replace the weights fast, so this does not bother me...

very easy to use and swap out spacers with standard plates. Using 10# plate stacks makes some movements awkward but if it changes your `` normal '' motion, it probably is a benefit using your muscle at a different angle. You can load more weight then recommended but I 'm sure the stated 30# of plate is for a built in safety factor. It appears to be very sturdy.

I highly recommend this kettlebell to anyone needing several different weights for a home gym. They are sturdy, and the spacer plates are removable so you can adjust the weight from 15 pounds( just the top handle) to 45 pounds easily with 5 lb weights. Like the first review says, you need to buy the 5 lb weights to add to the existing 20 lb assembled kettlebell. Get standard plates( 1 '' hole), not Olympic plates with the 2 '' hole. This set will save you hundreds of dollars compared to having 7 or 8 separate kettlebells. I bought two for 2- handed exercises, so I will be doubling my savings.

Luckily, my local store had these in stock so I noticed the spacers right away. I could see some buyers surprised about thinking the spacers were weight if purchased sight unseen and shipped. Kudos for Dick's fixing the description to be clear. I did n't want lots of different bells laying around to produce different combinations. You also have the option of buying only what you need since the solid bells are very expensive in my opinion. My wife loves these bells. If you change your workout, you can buy more weight and add it. My old 5lb dumbbell weights work as well. They are similar diameter so I was able to use some of my existing stock laying around. Fantastic idea. 5 Stars.

Bought these( 2) as Christmas gifts. Quality built, they are perfect for the home gym. You have the flexibility of only having two pieces of equipment occupying precious space, but can adjust the weights to multiple settings for a wide range of exercises.

So, obviously, prior to purchasing, I was skeptical and concerned, but now after working out with it for a few weeks, it was the best thing I could 've done for my kettlebell workouts.... really, really like this thing. Works perfect, saves space, saved me from buying 6 other kettlebells.

I was looking to increase the weight of my kettle bell set without adding to the clutter of the of the 4 piece set I already had, this piece of equipment does both. It is safe and easy to use, it is very similar to my dumbbell set called the block, with the movement of a pin you can easily adjust 6 different amounts of weight. It was inexpensive relative to buying the same amount of weight with individual kettle bells.
