This shirt is fantastic. It ’s basically just a much needed upgrade version of the 1/2 zip elements. What I mean by that is the material is soft and comfortable and stretchy. The shirt also has a mesh ’s area running on the bottom of the arm that goes along the whole sleeve which is nice to help with cooling off. Also it seems to be lighter than the elements which helps it be a better choice to wear on warmer days. Hope these stick around and get more colors. I definitely recommend these especially if you were a fan of the 1/2 zip elements.

Bought these to use as an alternative to fleece lined work pants. Much prefer these as it provides more flexibility, yet keeps you warm. They fit well and pair with my canvas work pants. I particularly like the idea that if the weather warms up enough, I can simply take them off, whereas with lined pants, you 're stuck unless you keep an additional pair of pants with you. These launder well too. The seams in them are placed well so there's no `` tugging '' or tightness. To me, they 're a great cold weather investment.

Received these thermal pants for Carhartt field testing. They strike a nice balance between being very warm, lightweight, and comfortable. Wore under double- front jeans or canvas pants in single- digit temperatures with negative wind chills and my legs stayed warm while moving/working. Their light weight is nice for putting in a pack if it gets too warm while hunting or hiking. They are also comfortable to lounge in in warmer temperatures! [ This base layer longsleeve uses a high quality mesh fabric that is both comfortable and breathable. Because the material is very thick and the neck collar is higher than the average normal tee, I can wear it either as a base layer or even on its own. It has kept me warm during all my gym workouts, and I do notice my sweat drying quickly off from the shirt. A 3M- reflective Nike Tech branding is shown across the chest, which gives the shirt a nicely added premium touch. I ca n't tell if the flat panels along the back of the shirt provides any sort of performance, but I do like that the design reminds me of a padded workout shirt. The fit is intended to be tight with some stretch, and while I went with my true to size, there is still some room to give more of a slim fit look. This baselayer is far from your basic undershirt, so feel free to wear it proudly on its own.

Moreover, the overall quality is exemplary. It has become my# 1 workout shirt. I put it to wash immediately after each workout and after it dries, it is no different than when I first tried it on. I also found it unique with the new no collar design. The fabric felt very premium and heavy which was nice especially in an office setting. I appreciated the small Jordan logo on the sleeve/wrist which kept the shirt very neutral and versatile. The fit through the body was a little more fitted than I would have liked when wearing shirts alone but on the other hand it makes it perfect for layering. I would have preferred a little more rook through the chest on this fit top. The tapered sleeve that fits nicely around the wrist was something else I noticed and liked about this shirt. [ At first, it seemed that the fit is a little tight to wear on its own but given the purpose of a sun shirt for golfing or other sports it is a perfect fit for a man with an average build. It may be the best part of the shirt. It is flattering despite the slim cut. The fabric is very breathable, it will be as cool as a long sleeve shirt could be for blocking the sun. I like the Jordan logo on the sleeve because it is different from typical shirt branding. Seems slightly subtle even though it may actually be more prominent than other logo placements.

But I did have to size up to an extra large which I have to do with all Carhartt space layers for their shirts. But I like the fit and I like the materials. I wear them at work and it's a lot better to sweat in these than it is a cotton shirt. I believe these are the newer models also as they do n't have the sewn on Carhartt tag. Nonetheless they are still quality shirts but are a little on the pricey side at$ 50 each. But still worth it in my opinion.

Things that could make it better: Thumb Loops/thin stretchy material at the end of the sleeves, like they have with the first tracks down jacket. Maybe a loop or hole near the neck gaiter area to store sunglasses when not on your face( one of the drawbacks of all pieces with the neck gaiter style). The front chest pocket ripstop is kinda loud(?) when brushed against. Not a huge deal just an inference. Things I love: the warmth, it's surprisingly warm. Pair it with a waterproof shell and you should be good in most places. The fit( subjective), I am usually in between sizes and sized up- it fits exactly how I expect/want, I 'd say true to size. I actually like the small hood, also subjective, but this will stay on my head without a helmet for just wearing casually which is what I wear it for. Probably too small for wearing with a helmet if riding. And a couple really cool features that I never knew I needed: The adjustable cinch at the bottom of the piece allows you to taper/close the bottom towards the hips. One issue I have with 99% of every fleece I 've had is the fabric kinda `` floats out '' towards this hip area when wearing, and makes you look larger than you actually are. This is a great solution for that, so it makes fits quite a bit better with this cinch feature. Another is the pocket- ception, the secret stash pocket within the kangaroo pocket is a sneaky place to store small items. Who does n't love a good stash pocket? Love the print, something other than just one color. I 've been wearing it the last few days and want to wear it all the time, it's extremely comfortable. I imagine I will be grabbing this piece more often than most others in my closet this winter. Very happy with this purchase.
