As a heads up the tall size does have longer arm length on the sleeves so the extra elbow room may not sit directly on the elbow. But overall as 6' 5 '' I 'm glad I went with the tall. I love the materials. The jacket itself has a really interesting touch to it. It almost feels rain resistant, obviously not rain- proof. Overall a great lightweight jacket.

My jacket also came with a random thread embedded into the chest area, with a piece of tape behind it. Seemed like something missed from the factory, but I removed it with some tweezers. [ This jacket is pretty much everything you want it to be for a running coat or rain coat or everyday wear coat!:) It is so thin, lightweight and the material is very stretchy. I love that it's made of 75% recycled material and is also waterproof. Cool! My favorites about this coat are in the details though!! The sleeves have elastic so you can pull them up your arms and they stay. The zipper pulls all have a little extender on them for convenient use and there is an elastic hook to hang the coat by. Probably my favorite detail is the design of the hood pulls. You can pull your hood tight and lock it into place with a stopper. But even more awesome, the stopper is on a loop with a little blocking washer so your strings wo n't get lost in the holes of the hood during wear or washing. Amazing design!!! The only thing I would mention here is that I am a woman and this is a mens coat so the design is very straight; no room for hips at all- so I would suggest getting a womens style coat if you are at all curvy. For me I just tuck it under. Also for a men's small to fit me perfect makes me think it may run a bit small( as I think most Nike items do). Overall, highly recommend.

It rolls up pretty small and is a lot lighter than the umbrella, which helps with reducing weight of having to lug around through my travels. The stylish look combined with the light weight stretchy feel makes this jacket stand alone in my collection that I 'll resort to for many occasions and not just for a cloudy rainy day. It's also not like any other typical rain coats, this one does n't make you feel like you 're wearing a plastic bag and make you all sweaty. [ I was looking for a breathable jacket to use in windy Ohio spring and fall weather when it is too warm for a thick cotton hoodie. The Sten jacket is exactly what I wanted. It weighs the same as my old flimsy nylon windbreaker but feels much more durable. The pockets and details are well thought out, and the two way zipper and bottom hem snap allow for as much ventilation as needed. It is NOT waterproof, but the fabric dries quickly and can be treated with Greenland wax to make it more water repellent.

I often prefer men's styles due to the straight cut without the flared out hips that most women's shirts/sweaters tend to have. I wear this hoodie as my jacket when temps are on the warmer side and as a mid layer under a jacket when temps are on the colder side. I will say it's very warm though. I can usually get away with wearing it in the low 50s to high 60's as my outer layer. I 'm a 5' 5 '', 110 lb female with a straight/slim build and I wear the XS. The sleeves are a tad long for me but I 'm used to it since I wear mostly men's clothing. I usually just cuff them back a little. I 'm also a big fan of the G1000 reinforcements from the elbow to the wrist. It's a nice look and gives the sweater extra durability. The leather logo/ending to the drawstrings is a nice touch too.

In the pouring rain, the jacket kept me warm, and rain did not enter through my cuffs which i really appreciate. Because my older jacket, wind would often ride up my sleeves. I was also grateful that my salsa shirt( not! it was more of an outdoorsie one) was dry. This would mean water did not leak through the zippers, even with wind and splashes from other vehicles. My only concern was the front pocket where i kept my phone at my chest, was very damp. Something for me to prepare next time would be a little zip lock bag to ensure important things in the pocket stay dry. On arrival, my new Salsa friends was impressed i got through the storm, and had a dry shirt on! But they laughed at my soaking wet jeans.

The Dick's employee we were directed to, a young man who loves to snowboard in our local mountains, directed us to this jacket. We are new to the sport and have n't got up to the mountains yet, but one feature we liked that would n't be apparent online or in- store, but which he showed us, is that there are side zippers that go up pretty high almost to under the armholes. He said if the sun comes out and you are just getting hot/sweaty from the exercise of snowboarding, you can unzip both side zippers( they start at the bottom hem), and it helps you vent out your warm air and cool off, without having to remove the jacket. He says he really likes that feature. He owns the same jacket in black and he loves it. I was worried because it has a non- bulky profile so I thought maybe it wo n't insulate enough, but he said the jacket keeps him nice and toasty when he's snowboarding. It looks to my eyes young and modern and cool, and my daughter looked cute in it when she tried it on. It's also pretty roomy, which is a plus if it is for a teen who is still growing. Bought this for cycling in the light rain. Nice fit and weight. I 'm 6' 3 '' and 200 lbs. and a large is a nice slim fit. Packs down small and is easy to stow. Not 100% waterproof, but kept me mostly dry on a 3 hour downpour bike ride. If you 're on the husky side, you might size up to an XL.
