First time I wore them was for an indoor bike workout and I liked them. Liner wicks sweat well, very little soaked through onto the shorts themselves.

I find that the 10 ” length helps to prevent them from bunching up when I go for a run or play sports. Another nice pair of shorts from Dick's, I 've gotten quite a few now from Dick's Sporting Goods and have been happy with all of them. This pair is no exception. Really excellent shorts in fact. These are made of a thin moisture wicking material with an inner integrated 'underwear' compression part. This is well- designed and it's not too tight but supportive enough for any activity, whether running or plyometrics. This are quite short, a real modern style running short length. The shorts are loose enough to not restrict your movement when you are active. But with the inner compression part you do n't need to feel self- conscious if you 're down on your back lifting your legs in a fitness class or something. The stitching seems very good, with it being stitched in an eye- pleasing way- by this I mean it's not just a plain 'bag' like one- piece short- it looks good. There are two pockets on either side with the left one having an inner zipped pocked. This is n't real large but it's stretchy, so my mid- sized Samsung phone fit in it just fine. It's seems to be sturdy enough to hold a phone without it bouncing inside there. So, a really good pair of shorts, they seem to be well- made and well- designed.

[ These shorts have become a go- to in my rotation. The fit is right where it needs to be. Not too baggy, not restrictive. The 5 '' inseam hits at a good length and stays put during workouts. The Dri- FIT fabric does its job. It moves moisture away fast and feels light on the skin, even during heavier sessions. No chafing, no clinging. Design is clean and minimal. Nothing flashy, which is exactly what I want in a training short. They pair well with just about anything in the gym bag. What I like most is how versatile they are. I wear these lifting, running, and on off days just running errands. They hold up wash after wash without losing shape. [ I really impressed with the shorts when i pulled the shorts out of the bag. At first glance, they didn ’ t look like what i typically wear to work out in. They were styled more like a daily use pair of shorts. The fabric had a nice weight to it and felt great. Usually anything i get with dri- fit is on the thinner side. The shorts fit great, not overly loose, and the legs were wide enough without looking baggy. I really like that they ’ re made for working out, but the design doesn ’ t yell out “ i just got done working out! ” I will probably use these for outdoor walks/hikes, versus in the gym. The heavier weight will help block the wind and if they do get a little wet, they should dry out quickly. I do wish the pockets had zippers or snaps to help keep things from falling out. My phone, wallet, and, car key all fit without the pockets feeling over filled. Nothing fell out of the pockets getting in and out of my car, but I will always keep thinking about that when I have them on. These shorts are great for a workout, with a quick stop either before or after.

Well made and I can tell it will last a long time. I got the 5 ” lined and the liner is a boxer brief that is not super tight nor loose. Which I appreciate.

Nice simple shorts. Very versatile and the zipper pockets, which I feel are a must at this price point make for secure storage. Material seems similar in feel to the tech fleece line but for a cheaper price. The material is also cooler than tech fleece. I find these can be worn in temperatures above 80 degrees. Note the 7inch inseam, I ’ m am 6ft and the medium fit well but could feel a short compared to the regular tech fleece shorts
