Ok, I ’ m 6 ’ 2 185lbs and I purchased the size medium chore jacket and it fits like a glove. The jacket is still roomy enough to put a layer underneath and the jacket over it comfortably. The jacket is very versatile too. If you wear the jacket without layering, it still keeps wind and rain out. Now I want this jacket in chocolate. Ahem, Carhartt! Totally like this jacket's warmth and feel. The tall version is a good length for me at 6' 2 ''. I was concerned that the hood would me too rigid but it seems to work fine.

The jacket seemed very heavy at first, but it's very durable outside, and well insulated. I love it, and I have n't even got to try it in the snow yet. It feels like it is well made and will last a long time.

I wore out my Detroit jacket and purchased this one to replace it. I ordered a large at first and had to send it back as it was too large through the belly. Medium fit my 5' 8 '' 170 lb carcass perfect. Washed and softened it per the instructions inside the coat. Feels great, it's warm and has that great Carhartt feel. Cuffs and waist are just the right length while providing good coverage from the elements.
