I was kind of skeptical getting these considering the way the size is listed. Since I am tall, usually I have to be careful and most stuff is too short for the inseam length. I am 6 ’ 3 ” and 185lbs. I usually wear 33/34. These fit perfect! Glad I pulled the trigger and will definitely get more. Not too baggy and not too tight. Can not recommend these enough. Your normal waist and inseam size will work because of the stretch, however the waist runs half- an- inch to an inch small and the length is half and inch long in my opinion.

[ Just received my Outdoor Research Ferrosi pants. First thing I noticed was the softness of the material. The pants fit perfectly in fact I 'll be wearing them even when not hiking. The zippered thigh pocket is big enough for the phone. The two front pockets are huge and I like the back zippered pocket for my maps. The fit is not tight or loose. Upon bending, the Ferrosi material seemed to be stretchable and not confining. The pants felt comfortable and breathable to the point that I thought I was wearing shorts. Even hiking during the New Mexico monsoons, I kept dry. Hiking through the brush, I was n't sure if the pants would tear, the Ferrosi pants passed the test. As far as style is concerned, I feel and look great in these Ferrosi pants. Keep up the good work Outdoor Research, ca n't wait to get a Ferrosi jacket.

Finally, the absolute perfect pair of pants!! I am so excited! I have long been obsessed with the Ferrosi fabric, and joggers are my favorite style of pants. They are legitimately the most comfortable and functional pants I 've ever owned and I hope they make so many more colors. I fluctuate between the 16 and 16W sizes in the regular Ferrosi pants, and the XL in the joggers fit me perfectly. I could also probably wear the XXL but they 'd be significantly looser than the model in the pic and I like them a little form fitting. I would say to size down if you 're in between sizes unless you want them baggy. The drawstring waist is so comfy and non- restrictive, and the cuffs hit right at the ankle of my 5'10 '' frame. They are the perfect amount of stretchy but hold their shape, they 're super breathable and water resistant, and honestly more comfortable than most of my pajama pants! Way to go OR!

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Love the fabric in these. Plenty of flex, and are easy to move around in. They are versatile in that they look good enough to wear to the office, or as every day wear. Fit was pretty good, but a bit too big, and I returned them. I look forward to trying them again in the near future.

I am a curvy size 6. I was worried about the waist being tight as per other reviews. It's not. Follow the size guide and they 'll fit. They fit wonderfully, I 'm super happy with them. They 're higher in the back so no crack- show when I 'm squatting down or anything. Great material, lots of stretch, perfect waist. No negatives.

[ Very useful for those days when the temps will swing a lot. Maybe you are starting activities early in the morning when it's cold but will be out as it gets hot and want to remove the legs of your pants to have shorts instead. Or perhaps you are hiking and going up a mountain and know it will get much colder as you proceed, and will want to change from shorts to pants. These are comfy for any such activities. My only complaint is that I think these run a bit small. I wear a medium in most pants and shorts( including shorts from Marmot), but these are pretty tight on my curvier butt and legs.

Great zip- off pants. Excellent stretch, durability, and indicators for each zip attachment( colors indicate which pant leg attaches). The only improvement that could be made is additional leg length and waist options to really hit the mark.

I have never liked jogger pants even though I owned a few from various brands. Got these pants from OR and they are amazing. Comfortable, super stretchy but do n't lose their looks and shape, I even discovered while cleaning a stain I had made that the pains are fantastically water resistant and yet they magically remain breathable and very light. These have become my favourite pants by far. To be mentioned, I have climbed a few times with these and you can observe some minor scratches on the knees. This is to be expected so I do n't argue for the quality of the material, but still worth knowing that they are not magical paints, sadly:) I am from Europe and OR is not such a common brand to find. They convinced me with this product, since then I also have bought their Foray rain jacket, which is awesome.

Awesome Joggers. I have a pair of the Ferrosi pants as well, which are great for hiking, but love the tapered leg for running and more active days. Tough, flexible, and with just the right wind resistance, I find myself wearing these even when I 'm not running or hiking.

[ My Ferrosi joggers came in good and proper. These pants are great for my weekends fly fishing on the river to keep cool and the sun off my skin just just as much as they are great for hanging around and doing anything. I wore these pants 32 days straight while walking the Camino Frances in Spain. They were terrific. East to hand wash at night yet be dry in the morning. Lightweight for hot Spanish sunshine yet keeping me warm in the morning. Easy to zip off when your exertions make you sweaty. I did n't even bother alternating with the joggers from another brand, which quickly became my pajama bottoms for cold nights.

It is a great lightweight piece for high- exertion activities where you may need an extra layer for warmth. I wore these for a few days in a row, and they held their shape and did n't stretch out as some wool pieces will over time. I am 5' 6 and 150lbs, and the small is a perfect fit.
