[ I was in the market for a serious summer sun hat instead of the cheap ones available at all of the big box stores. After much research I decided on Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure Hat. I received it and I 'm lovin' it! The first thing I noticed was the air I could feel circulating on the top of my bald head. Having vents on your hat are important, however, they usually allow burning sun rays to filter through. Usually I have to decide between being sunburned without a hat or hot with a hat. The Ultra Adventure hat has happily made that decision for me with its ultraviolet protection factor of 50+, including the mesh panels. No more polka dot sunburned head! Also, its so light weight you can forget you have it on. It is really the lightest hat I have owned. Its hard to believe it can do its job and be so light on your head. The downward sloping 3 ¼ ” brim shades my entire face and the cape keeps the sun off my neck, which is another great design feature. This hat gives protection to head, face, neck and ears without being obtrusive. Other features include a sunglass lock that holds your glasses in place. It works too. I have tried to shake my head to dislodge them and they stay put. Also, if taking a hat in a back pack is an issue for you, this hat folds in half at the brim and can be kept in your pocket. This hat is different, it is comfortable, lightweight, vented, and stylish. I like it so much I have recommended it to numerous others and given one to my Dad for Father's day. I needed a hat to use when attending all day outdoor events. With very fair skin it does n't matter how much sunscreen I use I still get red. This hat is great for keeping the sun off my face and neck. I really like how lightweight the top part of the hat is. I also like the ability to size the hat and the venting. This is a great hat if you are looking for comfort and good coverage.

I love that it has a hidden pocket on the inside crown and wish all hats would offer this feature. ... The shades pockets will push the brim down but it is still a cool
