To be fair, I am 6 ’ 4 and I have a long torso and short legs. These pants seem to run a little shorter than others. I wore these on a long day of walking all day in 95+ degree weather and they were so comfortable! I loved that I could unzip them a bit at the bottom of leg for airflow. Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

I skidded on my side about 8 feet after crashing a dirtbike going way faster than I had any right to, and the pants look new. WHERE ARE THE NEW COLORS?!?! These are the most absolutely amazing pants on the market and I 'm getting nervous that there are no new fun colors this season. It's true that this fabric does pill little bit but hear me out- they 're still totally worth it! I work exclusively outside for my fulltime job, hiking 5 miles per day on average and I genuinely wear these pants 4 days a week at minimum. I 've had the same pairs of Ferrosi's for over 5 years and though pilled, they 've lasted perfectly and show no other signs of wear. They are crazy lightweight and breathable but also water resistant. They keep me cool in 100+ degree weather and also do great over a baselayer in the winter. They are stretchy enough but also hold their shape. OR, you better warn us if these ever get discontinued so I can buy 10 more pairs.

I thought my Vidda Pro's were the best trousers I had... until I picked up a pair of Keb Agile's in the sale. Hands( or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. The position of the thigh pockets is genius, and gives you easy access to items when sitting. The reinforced areas are perfect, especially the inner calf areas. These are going to get a lot of use and I expect them to be as durable and hard wearing as all the many other bits of Fjallraven kit that I own.

I 've bought three pairs of these pants over the years. They are slim- fitting, a bit stretchy, and lightweight. Good for summer. They have some nice details like the pockets and cuff snaps, although honestly I do n't use either of those much. They are very slim fitting, so make sure you do n't order them too small in the waist. A lot of outdoor clothing companies make pants similar to these-- light, slightly stretchy, clean- looking and not too complicated. I think these are one of the better versions.

I got these pants in anticipation of starting a season of trail work. They held up through an entire season of rock work, which was pretty impressive. The material was relatively breathable for being so durable. Only complaint is the zipper pocket which i had to replace, and the button that closes the waist finally popped out on me on the second to last day. I 'll likely be getting these again.

[ I wanted to get another pair of the “ Holly Pants ”, which I love and have had for many years, however Marmot has discontinued them. The “ Arche Rock Pants ”, according to a very helpful person in Consumer Service, are the closest match. I like the pants but I ’ d prefer a light soft lining which the Holly pants have and a softer outside material which probably is less water resistant. The Arche Rock pants have a thin material with no lining and they rustle when I walk. Maybe some of the stiffness will decrease over time. The navy color and the fit are fine but the length a bit short I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ” 135lbs and size 8.

They wash well( machine wash, cold water, and tumble dry, low heat). They do n't `` pill '' on the inner thighs, which I experience with most of my other pants. They are great! I love the way these pants feel and look. I recently bike commuted in them in the rain and unexpectedly they did great shedding water, they barely got wet at all. I love the stretchy waistband and overall fit. Being a little taller, they bottoms are a few inches above my ankles but that's fine if you 're looking for that. I would love an identical option that extended another 6 '' or so and in a few more fun colors. I 'm about 5' 7 '' and 133# and a size S was just right to avoid a baggy look that still moved well. I always seem to fall somewhere between an OR size S and M for bottoms, though.

I climb in them frequently and they hold up on wide cracks and sharp crystals. They look great and are so comfortable. I love that they are slightly cropped& tapered so they stay out of the way when climbing. I 'm 5' 4, 130lbs,& typically a size 4,& the size small fits perfect. I recently took a skid on a downhill abrasive, pebbly hike and thought `` this is end of these pants ''. I was wrong- they were n't at all damaged and the rock dust just brushed off. I would love to see some more colors in muted tones- gray, drab olive green, etc. The khaki color goes with most color tops, but the green is an evergreen color that does n't go with most of my wardrobe, just the black and white tops. I dress in dull colors that do n't show travel wear.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

I love these pants for hiking and backpacking. The material breathes well, dries quickly and is cool in hot weather but warm enough when actively hiking into the upper 40s even in a mild breeze. The draw cord at the waist is very nice and works well. Eliminate need for a belt, which gets in the way when carrying a backpack. The draw chords at the cuffs are nice, but they require a plastic attachment, which is easily lost. They should be supplied with one or two replacements when purchased.

After wearing nylon cargo pants for the last 20 years, I have switched to these. They are very comfortable and the fabric is great. I did have to have a tailor shorten them in length. I also had the zippered pockets reduced in depth to eliminate heavy stuff like a cell phone banging on my knee. I wish they came in khaki!! Note that they run very large. I normally take a 39 '' waist but had to order a 37 '' waist and it is loose. I bought them for travel but now they are my everyday pants.

Great zip- off pants. Excellent stretch, durability, and indicators for each zip attachment( colors indicate which pant leg attaches). The only improvement that could be made is additional leg length and waist options to really hit the mark.

[ Very useful for those days when the temps will swing a lot. Maybe you are starting activities early in the morning when it's cold but will be out as it gets hot and want to remove the legs of your pants to have shorts instead. Or perhaps you are hiking and going up a mountain and know it will get much colder as you proceed, and will want to change from shorts to pants. These are comfy for any such activities. My only complaint is that I think these run a bit small. I wear a medium in most pants and shorts( including shorts from Marmot), but these are pretty tight on my curvier butt and legs.

Love these pants! I have gotten many compliments on them from my family. I ’ m thin so I got the XS and the fit great. Not too tight but fitted enough to to be flattering not feel like your wearing hiking pants. There are tons of pockets and I mean pockets that actually hold things including your phone! Thanks Columbia cause in women ’s pants this is a rare feature these days. I do wish there were more color variations.
