I bought this vest just before a trail ultra race. From the moment I tried the vest on I knew it was a winner. Very lightweight and the location of the soft bottles was perfect for me. Enough pockets to carry the gear I needed for quick access. The bottles have a lock to avoid unwanted spills. I left the bottle in the pouch for drinking. I 'm not a fan of the straws so I stuck with the original tops. I retired a hip belt. I had too much bounce with full bottles. In summary you 'll enjoy the lightweight and quick access to gear. The bottle location and quick access were key to the design for me. I would absolutely recommend getting this vest.

Thought I just needed a vest as part of my running wardrobe, but little did I know this was a must have I never knew about. Now in cooler weather I ’ m wearing this for pretty well any temperature below 50F. Seems shocking that you could do 6- 20 mile runs at near 50 degrees with what seems like a hot article of clothing but somehow it ’s fantastic at regulating heat. I ’ VE NEVER FELT HOT WHILE WEARING THIS!!! Sure I ’ ll still sweat, but there ’s no worry about thinking you need to plan for how warmed up you ’ ll be 2- 3 miles in. One slight ding I ’ d give for how small the zipper pulls are and it ’s easy for the bottom one to not quite line up and get off track.

Be aware that neither the inside sleeve pocket nor the zipper pocket are the entire length of the bag; I really wish they were- it would make fitting my car keys in the zipper pocket a whole lot easier. I use this daily for errands and at work to keep my phone and my keys with me.

[ I was at Pack Rat in Fayetteville Ar. when I found this butt pack, due to the heat around this place while mountain biking I figured for the summer time I would put away my Osprey ruck. Got online ordered one and I give it 5 stars. Holds my first aid kit and some snacks along with other small items and 2 water bottles. I 've had it to Kessler mt and Slaughter Pen for some 15 mi rides. This will be my go to spring through fall. The balance is good on the tech trails, never know it's there. I got this so I would have a lightweight reflective vest I could take with me for travel, and this fits the bill! Took quite a bit of adjusting to find the right fit but I eventually got it. Would be great if it came with a lil stuff sack or something equivalent, I just wrapped it with a Velcro strap.

[ These are great for early morning, evening, twilight, after hours, basically when it is or getting dark:) They are a snap to put on with the easy velcro connector. If you are like me and wake up 15 minutes before your dawn jog or are a snoozer until the last minute, this is a good solution to at least have some safety equipment on for visibility in the darkness.

Added this reflective vest to my evening/night running kit. Super easy to adjust to fit. Light weight so comfortable to wear. I use this with my Nathan chest lamp, arm bands and reflective cap. I am definitely not a professional runner by any means, but I love all of the Nathan gear I have. Great products and even better customer service from the team at Nathan.
