If you are looking for shorts to do activities in that will be good in wet or dry conditions, these should do the trick. They have an integrated liner like a swimming suit and are made of material that would dry quickly. The material is a little heavier than other all conditions shorts I have had, but that is probably good if you intend to go hiking. They should not easily snag or tear. As the description says, they are 5 '' shorts so you need to be comfortable with the shorter style tp enjoy these.

I still have room in the hips, but they fit nicely and give me some shape. And my legs do n't look like sticks hanging out of a barrel!;) This fabric has a nice, silky feel to it. Some of the others I tried were a bit stiff and `` papery '' feeling. I highly recommend these.

[ So far, really impressed with Nike ACG! Their line has some very well- designed and functional pieces for all kinds of outdoorsy activities. I ordered these for my brother. Some initial impressions:- They really weren ’ t kidding about the pockets! So many of them( hidden, zipped, small, large, front, back, you name it!). I ’ m not share how secure some pockets are, but in general, very convenient.- The material is very lightweight but sturdy. There ’s a mesh inner layer underneath as well, which looks very breathable and comfy.- The shorts are super adjustable! I accidentally got a large for my brother, but we were able to make it work because of the elastic waist and drawstrings.- The shirts have some loops meant for hiking poles( so cool?!). I bet you could also add a carabiner or something.- I really liked the neutral color scheme. The top of the shorts is gray and has an interesting plaid print.- They are a little pricier than what I ’ m used to, but given the unique features, I think this might be worth it for an avid hiker or if they ’ re on sale. It ’s too chilly to wear these out now, but I ’ m sure they ’ ll be perfect for indoor use or for hikes in warmer weather!

The fabric provided me with a breathable and moisture- wicking feel that was very comfortable. The shorts were a bit snug when I first put them on but when playing basketball, they were very flexible. The waistband was flexible on my body and didn ’ t dig in my thighs while running. The style of the shorts provided me with ample amounts of space to place my keys and my phone. I also like the inner- lined of the shorts that provide me with support. The amount of space to store things was one of my favorite parts of these shorts, including the loops to latch things onto them. One thing I would change about these shorts would be the fitting of the shorts once I first put them on. The shorts are comfortable but for someone with thicker thighs, the internal lining could cut into the thigh. I would get a size bigger just for my thighs.

Some reviews mentioned sizing down, and since my other Prana Halle shorts in size 8 fit me a little snug now, I stuck with ordering a size 8 and am very happy I did. These shorts( and a pair of Prana pants) are my favorite bottoms to wear and I have worn them in 12 countries( and counting), so they have had a LOT of wear. They are great for hiking, sight- seeing, and everyday use. I was worried about ordering them online without having the chance to try them on. However, their fit is great. I was also disappointed that when I ordered them the only color in my size was Earthtone. However, I am actually happy with the color and think it looks better in person. I have hand washed them, line dried, machine washed, and machine dried. They dry quickly, have a bit of stretch( which is great for being active), and did n't show the massive amounts of sweat in hot, humid climates. Honestly, these shorts have paid for themselves. I have also received many compliments about this pair of shorts.

I love this version of the Ferrosi shorts. I have spent far too much time and money trying to find shorts that met my expectations. These are durable, fit well, and are made of material that is light and stretchy. I do n't overheat in these and they do n't seem to constrict my movement. I 'm 5'10, 165 lbs, lean and the 33 inch waist has ample room. The length is exactly what I have been looking for, not too long and not Bob Weir short... perfect pool side, with a T, with a polo, even with a button down. Almost the perfect shorts ever! So close!( just needs elastic in the waistband to be 5 star). What I love:( 1) the pockets are amazing- all women's bottoms should have such great, deep pockets, with a mix of zipped and buttons! LOVE that! THANK YOU, Fjallraven, for the pockets!( 2) The length of the legs is great. I hate short shorts, but usually longer shorts make me look frumpy... not these. I like to roll them up one hem- length and love how that looks/feels.( 3) The curvy fit is SO FLATTERING. I never thought that longer shorts could look so good on me. These look amazing. Who knew!( 4) Stretch- the fabric overall feels great and stretchy and durable.( 5) Colour- I got the navy, and they just look so nice, with the little logo icon fox standing out nicely against the dark blue. My husband even commented on the colour.( 6) The waist sits perfectly- not too high, not too short. Hits a nice spot.. Why not a 5- star review? Because I REALLY want some elastic/stretch in the waist. I love my Stina trousers, which are comfortable all day due to the small elastic sections they have put into the waistband. These shorts are comfortable for a while, but the lack of elastic in the waist means I start feeling the waist/button dig in after a few hours, or during different positions/activities. They just need to fix this, and I would be buying all the colours and getting rid of all my other shorts!. Should you buy some? I think it's worth getting a pair, for sure. Functionality, quality, and flattering fit are superb. I wo n't be buying a second pair in hopes that Fjallraven will make the EXACT same shorts with some elastic in the waist! I recently purchased a pair of ferrosi shorts, 7 '' length. I 'm 5' 4 and I think the length is great. They are come to a couple of inches above my knee( long enough that there is no inner thigh chaffing) and the shorts are n't too tight in the leg opening( I 'm more curvy vs slim in the thigh). I have n't had a chance to use them heavily yet- will update if I see the need, but expect that they will be great based on what I 've seen so far.
