[ the high waist band would be great for someone with no belly fat, I 'm not a big guy, but you know when you lean over on a bike even `` thinner '' guys have a gut. Well the problem is this waist band gets pushed down by the front guy and eventually rolls down below your belly button, and it's just not comfortable. If you have a super lean belly I think these would be great shorts. Nice quality material and padding. I 'm 5'11 '', 180 and Medium fit great.

[ Speaking as someone who works with fabric, the pattern on these shorts do n't allow as much freedom of movement as their 2018 model but I 'm still grateful that quality shorts exist for slender riders with long inseams. I miss the drawstring waistbands but this will do.

[ Fit is good( large for 34 '' waist). Chamois is very confortable. I 'm 6' 4 '' and could use a bit longer inseam- think the older model was a bit longer. The color bleeds a bit when washing so wash separately initially.
