They do n't wrinkle up and the length is perfect( not hitting the knees( even though I 'm not a tall guy) but also not too short for someone who is over 6'). Good neutral colors too. I bought the pink ones because I wear this stuff for everyday wear, in addition to hiking and camping. I love the shorts, and LOVE the fit, but the fabric really does stain incredibly easy. I would n't purchase these in a light color because they readily absorb stains and will NOT release them. Now I ca n't even wear the pink ones hiking because they would get so stained I would n't want to wear them for daily use.
