I absolutely adore the Rain Defender exterior fabric. Will Rain Defender keep me dry in a cloud burst rain storm? Nope! However I am often required to work outside when it is heavily misting, snowing and sleeting. I have a number of shirts and jackets with a sherpa lining. I was fortunate enough to be able to grab this when it was half price and I 'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as shown. The inside has a beautifully soft fleece layer. I also like that it has a loop near the tag inside for easier hanging. I often wear a size large in most women's clothing, but this was described as being a little bit of a loser fit and I would definitely agree with that. And I feel like it fits well while even having a little roof to spare, which is great for when I want to wear layers. I also like that it's a little bit longer in the back, so if you 're wearing leggings and would like to cover up a little bit more, this offers a little more coverage. Coverage. There are two good size pockets in the direct front on either side of the jacket and it has a zipper closure. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend going a size down from your normal size.

The only thing I do n't like is that the pretty gold designs started to unravel at the elbows and as they are connected I ca n't see how to mend the small holes that are starting to appear Still I 'd get it again as nothing else is as warm and comfortable.

[ I was somewhat uncertain about this since it seemed a bit thin but decided to give it a try since the weather is now dropping below freezing. I love this and wear it almost daily. I generally wear it like a light jacket rather than a baselayer and it is just enough to take the chill off. I also tried it as a baselayer while hiking. It was fantastic. I shed layers while going up to just this and was fine at about 40 degrees. I added a vest when coming back down and not working as hard. Even though I wear it like a jacket, its not going to block any wind so use it under something else if its windy. Overall, I really like this and would 100% buy it again.

This is n't intended to be activewear, but is perfect casual ware. Post work out, or lounging around the house. And looks good enough to shop or grab a beer with someone. [ This is the coziest and softest sweater! Great quality and it just looks so good! I 'm very happy with this purchase. I actually had bought it to go with the crush pants in Port, and super glad that I did! This is my first sweater purchase from Icebreaker, but definitely will not be my last! I no longer buy plastic clothes! Maybe the occasional recycled items, if necessary, but definitely natural fibers is what we should all be wearing.

I think they 're so soft that they do n't feel like wool, but I also love that they are 100% merino, and is one of the main reasons I purchased.
