Like the other reviewers I was skeptical about how thin the material was. However, after wearing it snowboarding and Nordic skiing as a mid layer, it is awesome. The only downside I can tell is that the thumb holes are aligned in a way that sort of twists the sleeves. Also the seam line across the chest can be a little annoying to feel. I wear one of these almost every day at work in the fall winter and spring. It is comfortable, warm, and breathable. It ’s light weight and very versatile. For me it fits true to size. The thumb loops are very helpful when layering with additional insulating layers and the zipper helps dump heat when you need to. Buy more than one so you don ’ t have to wait for it when it ’s in the wash!

This jacket is exactly what I needed for Colorado's winter. Keeps me very warm without any layering though with layering warmth will obviously be increased. I would totally recommend if you are into snow sports or like being toasty during winter. Being able to pack this jacket up is another plus for me so it's always convenient to either leave in the drawer when stowed or have it hung up on the coat rack.
