I bought the shoes because we own 2 large Golden Doodles who need to go outside or be walked several times a day. Sometimes we run. These shoes have gone thru mud, snow, puddles, and more, and never missed a beat. My feet stayed dry and I just rinsed the shoes upon returning inside and good as new. I normally wear a 7. 5, but sized up to an 8 and the fit is perfect. I really like the extra room in the toebox, so I can wiggle my toes. However, the shoes do tend to run a bit narrow, so just a heads up if you have a wide foot. The shoes easily accomodated my orthotic once I pulled out the insole provided.( Hey, Nike, these shoes should have a unglued, easily removable, insole!) Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase.

I do not run, but am an avid hiker. Several people encouraged me to switch to a trail runner to alleviate some of the pain and blisters I was experiencing with my boots. My life is changed! I purchased these online for an upcoming trip to Japan and was shocked to discover that they are Mount Fuji themed! That might have been enough to sway me, but they were also extremely comfortable, very stable for my ankle issues, and they sat a little lower on the ankle than some other styles, which helped because I have a painful spot that needs surgery. The colors are fun as well, but most of all I expect them to be very comfortable for walking around all over Japan! The style I ordered is the white one that has speckles along the outsole. I am normally a women ’s size 9 and purchased the 9 1/2, and it fits perfectly.

Loved certain colorways. I 'm male and usually wear size 10. 5. So I bought myself size women 12. But these do run small unfortunately. So had to return. Otherwise, would 've gotten women 12. 5. But it does n't exist. Liked the sole. Pretty cushioned. The shoes are pretty light, too.

Very light and comfortable. Good traction. I like how it snugs my foot, but not too tight. I run with it only on grass and dirt. I tried the Caldera and Cascadia but they feel heavy and big.

Soft and responsive. Good traction. Tough sole with rock guard. Only complaint is I wish Brooks would sell a high top version for hiking. I wear Brooks Ghost Max and those are about near perfect for a running shoe. The Caldera 8 has close to the same feel and just slightly less cushion. Which is what is needed when trail hiking or running. I would love to see a Max version of this shoe for better trail running platform and a High top version for my long hikes where I need ankle support

Overall, very comfy Trial Shoes. I am impressed with the super breathable top and the perfectly balanced cushion. Unfortunately, the Width( 2E) is not available, so I bought the only option available, and my big toe is touching the side of the shoes. I have run only 30km so far, butI think this can be a problem for longer runs.
