These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

It was extremely hot and humid( sweat rolling down the legs and into my shoes), but the socks prevented hotspots and blisters. I have used wool and gymn socks in prior similar conditions, and had to use Luko tape and still had hot spots, but not with these socks.

It actually feels cooler than the REI Sahara hoodie by 2- 3C, even though they 're both the same weight. I think this shirt has better thermal conductivity. It also absorbs sweat faster which helps increase evaporation. You can check by dunking both shirts into a tub of water. I felt much more comfortable with this in 30- 40C temperatures with high humidity. I can feel the difference under a helmet. It's more stretchy, and greater horizontally compared to vertically so you have to be careful not to stretch it too far in order to keep it's UPF protection so I wear a loose fitting size. The fabric is n't as durable as the REI Sahara, as it has more pilling after a few months of wearing 2- 3 days a week. The wrists seem to be more stained. It has more facial coverage along the neck and side cheeks near the ear because it has a smaller opening for the face. It's a round opening so it sits fairly symmetrical compared to the REI Sahara which has an overlapping stitch at the neck that causes the hood to twist to one side. It does n't have a drawstring but since the opening is smaller, the wind does n't really blow it off, unlike the REI Sahara which needs it's drawstring to be cinched to resist the wind. The only benefit of the REI Sahara is possibly greater sun protection from the side rear angle due to how the hood drapes, but less protection from the side front angle; cheaper price; higher durability.

I wear the echo line of active wear when I 'm working out of fishing. The level of cool I get from wearing the ActiveIce appearal is unlike anything I 've tried before. It keeps me cool and I 'm not sweating as much as I do with the echo fabric. It does come with the trade off of being a bit heavier than the echo and not as breathable feeling since it's a thicker fabric. I will choose to wear the echo fabric when it's a cooler day doing a lot of activity and the ActiveIce fabric when it's really sunny and warm.

This is my second pair of Konos TRS shoes and they are just as comfortable as the ones I bought last year. Taupe color is exactly as pictured and fits true to size. I 've walked trails and sidewalks in these shoes and have no foot pain and my feet stay put, no sliding in the shoe and no heel slips. Easy to clean up if they get dirty on a trail. Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line.
