We originally were considering Gecko's drawstring style dry bag, but decided this bag looked like better quality level for our needs. This bag was exactly what we needed. We took it on a river float trip, and it was perfect. The lower half was submerged for nearly the entire 3 hours and everything stayed dry. It held our sunscreen, t- shirts, hats, keys, etc with plenty of room. We did put phones and keys in ziplocks just in case, since it was our first time using it and wanted to make sure we were closing it correctly. The strap made carrying and tying down to the tube easy. I would definitely recommend it. The only thing is to make sure you roll down the top enough to ensure a good seal. It says on the bag to roll `` at least 3 times '' but I would recommend rolling basically until you reach the top of your contents.

I have used a lot of different shapes and sizes of the Bill's Bag over the years. The 65 is my favorite size for summer time, inflatable kayaking, or going light on the cat boat. I have had some failure with the plastic buckles in the past, mostly human error by smashing them in the frame or tail gate by accident. I was excited to use the new metal fastening system. They worked really well, except in the cold weather with cold hands. It is a little harder to fit the metal hook through the webbing. I see it as a trade off for a super secure system. Very nice bag in fun colors! It has two zipper pockets I ’ ll call the main ones the bigger one towards the back has 2 compartments in it. One is padded with a bit of covering. The font pocket has a place for keys. And lots of room for smaller stuff. Then in the strap there ’s a zippered place for your sun glasses. And on top of the pack there ’s 2 stamps that tighten down for water bottles my is 36 oz. Or a tent.

A little background- back in July, I started on my weight loss journey. Even though I was going to the gym 2- 3 times a day and working full time, I would often use a reusable grocery bag to hold my gear. In September, I hit my goal of 25 pounds and treated myself to a new bag. I needed a bag that: 1. Did n't look like a gym bag. I did n't want a duffle look since I had to take this with me into work as well 2. Was big enough to actually fit clothes. Some days I would have two pairs of shoes, a swimming suit, towel, hoodie and regular clothes in addition to the gym clothes I was already wearing. 3. Had different compartments to hide my valuables. I put my wallet in my bag rather than bring a purse, so I needed a way to keep them safe as well. I did a lot of research, and I found this bag. The price was right, but it was online only. I had some concerns if it would be as big as I needed. Well, it turns out that it surpassed my expectations! This has been the best bag I could have asked for. It can handle all my needs and then some. I use the front pocket for toiletries, middle pocket for my wallet and the big pocket for my clothes/water bottle. My keys and phone go in a side pocket, and I 've had no issues. The best part is how easy it is to carry. I 've found with duffles or other bags that I would throw it on a shoulder that would then fall off. With this, I have no issues. It's so easy to adjust and throw on( or into the car). AND it does n't look super obvious at work that I 'm working out. So while there are a lot of reviews for this bag from student athletes, it gets a thumbs up from an adult gym rat too!

Got for the wife to take to the beach with kids when I am unavailable to be the boat swabbie. She said it was great and loves the handles to easily carry. Holds ice well. Loves the color. Easy to clean. Only downside is that I thought it was made in the USA like the hard coolers but it is not. One downside I see is the latches could be a problem in the future. Purchased this for a trip to Memphis where did not want to take a large wristlet, backpack, or purse and it worked out perfectly. Was able to fit full sized wallet and phone and still room for other personal items. Like that there is an outside zippered compartment as well as the zippered main compartment.
