[ Excellent insulated jacket, been waiting for Carhartt to make something like this for years. Warm, light, flexible, and not too bulky. Similar to synthetic insulated hoody's you find from outdoor companies like Patagonia, Arc'teryx, etc... but with a slightly thicker outer layer and more reasonable price tag. can be used as a mid or outer layer. It wo n't be the most durable outer layer, but durable outer layers or heavy and restricting, this is not.

[ This is a great hunting jacket. I wanted an tough outside lawyer to withstand the thicket, block wind and rain, and allow me to wear layers. This is perfect for that purpose. Also, I 've read a few reviews about how some do not like how the zipper goes up too high, but that really is n't a problem.
