[ It is n't often that a single piece of clothing completely elevates my wardrobe, but this sweatshirt fits that bill. It's easily among the comfiest hoodies I 've ever touched. The fit is slightly oversized, making it both a perfect streetwear layering piece, and a good hoodie to throw on after a long day for a comfy night on the couch. The material is a bit thicker and seems higher quality than most other athleisure wear I 've owned. The zippered kangaroo pocket perfectly fits a phone, as well, which is a really nice touch. To me, it looks best dressed up with a nice pair of athletic shorts or loose fit jeans, and if you wear jewelry, the true black color makes silver/gold pop really well. It's worth noting that the sleeves and hood fit pretty huge. When I put the hood up, it nearly droops down to my eyes and looks a bit silly, and the lack of cuff seams on the sleeves make for a baggy fit. These are very minor things to me, and they were features I got used to after a few minutes of wearing the hoodie. Design wise, I love the all- black look with the tiny Nike swoosh below the front neckline. I feel like this will be the hoodie I center my fall wardrobe around, both for looks and comfort.

[ This hoodie is first and foremost an oversized hoodie so you need to be aware of that before buying because if that's not your style it's not gon na feel great overall with your fit( you can size down I feel and get a more better fit if you 're not going for oversized). This hoodie I feel is the perfect airport hoodie, it's both stylish yet super functional for those long distance hauls. The sleeves are a bit longer than expected and looser than what I 'm used to in typical hoodies. There's definitely a subtly to this hoodie in the sense that Nike branding is very minimal( just a small swoosh and Nike Tech written on the right sleeve) so this pairs fairly well with any outfit cause it wo n't scream athleasure and makes it look more high fashion. [ This hoodie fit perfectly. The length of the arms and body were fitted without being tight and a length I 'm comfortable with. The outside of the fabric is smooth and the inside is like a French Terry feel, not quite fleece- like but very cozy. The Nike logo is small, but noticeable. The overall look is long and slimming and I found it to be very flattering. I washed and dried the hoodie per the washing instructions and it came out every bit as soft. I did n't notice any shrinking. Overall it's a great basic wardrobe piece. I thought it looked equally cute with leggings and joggers or with jeans. Probably the only thing I 'd change is the size of the pockets, I usually like to put my phone in my jacket pocket and this one was a little small for that.

I often prefer men's styles due to the straight cut without the flared out hips that most women's shirts/sweaters tend to have. I wear this hoodie as my jacket when temps are on the warmer side and as a mid layer under a jacket when temps are on the colder side. I will say it's very warm though. I can usually get away with wearing it in the low 50s to high 60's as my outer layer. I 'm a 5' 5 '', 110 lb female with a straight/slim build and I wear the XS. The sleeves are a tad long for me but I 'm used to it since I wear mostly men's clothing. I usually just cuff them back a little. I 'm also a big fan of the G1000 reinforcements from the elbow to the wrist. It's a nice look and gives the sweater extra durability. The leather logo/ending to the drawstrings is a nice touch too.

[ I bought this in Nov 2020 because I was looking for a lightweight winter jacket that I can wear as my primary jacket. I was worried it would n't be warm enough because it's not down but I can say that for non- active use, you could probably be comfortable in it down to 32 F or so. If you 're outdoors for extended periods of time( e. g. Standing outside for the bus/train, long walks), you might want something a little warmer. But for typical Philly/NYC winters, I think this is great. I also have a Fjallraven parka for when it's colder. If you 're being somewhat active, you could wear this comfortably in even colder temps. It does a good job of insulating the heat you generate from biking, jogging, brisk walking, etc. The fit is perfect for me! I have a long torso for someone my height( 5' 8 '') but it's nice and long, so I 'd guess that if you 're tall and skinny, this jacket would be great. For short torso people, it might feel long. The jacket looks great and feels like a great quality product. I hope to wear it for many years!

Basically a cargo fleece without looking like it, great layering and external piece. I am 5' 6 '' 155lbs and with most items am right between a Small and Medium. With this item, I tried them both on, and they both fit. I went with the small as I 'm planning on using this as a mid layer sometimes and for this item I wanted a slimmer fit, but if I was always going to wear it only as an outer layer, the medium's boxier/baggier fit would have worked fine. The hood's shape definitely makes it feel like there's a decent amount of material near/around my neck when I 'm not wearing it up. Maybe that would 've been a little less restrictive in the Medium, but the mesh lined hood and the added chin coverage were great when the wind and rain and hail picked up the other day. There are a couple great features that are n't listed in the description that are worth calling out. For starters, in the kangaroo pocket there is an internal mesh pocket almost the full width of the kangaroo pouch with its own top- access zipper, very nice as hoody pockets are typically useless for keeping items in. There is also an added keyring or bungee cord sorta thing inside the pocket, but I 've been getting a kick out of keeping my keys on display on the external D ring- What a fashion statement. I like that this can be worn as a comfy hoody but has as much secure storage as many jackets with much more obvious/bulky looking pockets. This 'll be a staple in my snowboard kit this winter and be great from going straight from the car into my storm shell.

Things that could make it better: Thumb Loops/thin stretchy material at the end of the sleeves, like they have with the first tracks down jacket. Maybe a loop or hole near the neck gaiter area to store sunglasses when not on your face( one of the drawbacks of all pieces with the neck gaiter style). The front chest pocket ripstop is kinda loud(?) when brushed against. Not a huge deal just an inference. Things I love: the warmth, it's surprisingly warm. Pair it with a waterproof shell and you should be good in most places. The fit( subjective), I am usually in between sizes and sized up- it fits exactly how I expect/want, I 'd say true to size. I actually like the small hood, also subjective, but this will stay on my head without a helmet for just wearing casually which is what I wear it for. Probably too small for wearing with a helmet if riding. And a couple really cool features that I never knew I needed: The adjustable cinch at the bottom of the piece allows you to taper/close the bottom towards the hips. One issue I have with 99% of every fleece I 've had is the fabric kinda `` floats out '' towards this hip area when wearing, and makes you look larger than you actually are. This is a great solution for that, so it makes fits quite a bit better with this cinch feature. Another is the pocket- ception, the secret stash pocket within the kangaroo pocket is a sneaky place to store small items. Who does n't love a good stash pocket? Love the print, something other than just one color. I 've been wearing it the last few days and want to wear it all the time, it's extremely comfortable. I imagine I will be grabbing this piece more often than most others in my closet this winter. Very happy with this purchase.

It's extremely light to wear but incredibly warm. My favorite features are the thumb holes and the hidden mittens! It is so versatile and can be something I throw on the take a run in the woods or a grocery run! The color and texture is the perfect addition to any wardrobe. I 've worn it with 3 different color yoga leggings and it looked amazing each time. The roll up hood is also something very helpful if you are anything like I am, and do n't like to have a hood bouncing and hitting your head on your run. With a low profile, it feels very insulating without limiting the wearer's range of motion. I am 5 ’ 11 ”, 180 lbs with long arms and an athletic build, and Mountain Hardware is one of the only brands with sleeves that are long enough for me to wear a medium. This jacket is a little tight in the chest, but should be fine with the stretchy material. It is warm and seemingly well made. I like the slim fit because it ’s not bulky and doesn ’ t get caught up and snagged on branches etc. the way baggy jackets can and I can wear it underneath a shell.

I really like this jacket. I had read some views and will comment first on some of the things others did not like- giving my perspective. Then will add some things I myself found I like. This jacket is fitted, especially around the chest. I got a medium and I am 5' 7 '' 160lbs, waist is 32. I actually like this because when I wear it under a shell it is not bulky. The waist is also fitted. I would say you need a trim body type for this work well, or you have to be willing to go a larger size than usual. The hood does not have a way to adjust opening while wearing this jacket alone- other than the quick let's get some cover for some rain or wind. But, under a shell is great. The shape makes it stays in place, and the if the shell is adjustable then you are set. I would not suggest wearing this only for a downpour- must use a shell, but it does take on some moisture without a problem. In terns of temperature my experience is that without activity( e. g. standing outside) this can take the 30s well( unless is very very windy). With some activity it will keep you warm enough in the 20s. The zippers work well and find myself using the top pocket to keep my phone handy and dry. I find myself wearing this very often and is `` dressy '' enough to wear casually around town.

I often prefer men's styles due to the straight cut without the flared out hips that most women's shirts/sweaters tend to have. I wear this hoodie as my jacket when temps are on the warmer side and as a mid layer under a jacket when temps are on the colder side. I will say it's very warm though. I can usually get away with wearing it in the low 50s to high 60's as my outer layer. I 'm a 5' 5 '', 110 lb female with a straight/slim build and I wear the XS. The sleeves are a tad long for me but I 'm used to it since I wear mostly men's clothing. I usually just cuff them back a little. I 'm also a big fan of the G1000 reinforcements from the elbow to the wrist. It's a nice look and gives the sweater extra durability. The leather logo/ending to the drawstrings is a nice touch too.

The back has a button that connects to the inside which rolls the hoodie up slightly so you can see the labels on the back of leggings. The front has the Nike label in white on the arm and black on black Nike wording on the chest area. Can be used for running/walking outdoors weather however, can be for everyday wear. [ This hoodie is great. It is warm but not hot. Super soft, some tech shirts can be itchy but this is not! I wear it all the time and it works great for all kinds of things even casual. I love the thumb holes and how it has two sets so you can cover your hands as needed the sleeves are also perfect for me. Usually sleeves are short as I am 6 ’ but even in the back thumb holes it is not tight. It is very breathable and flexible which keep it from impending motion. I love it and will be using it a lot.

[ This jacket is warm despite how light it is. I don ’ t think it ’ ll hold up once it gets too far below freezing, but I ’ ve been running in around 40 degree Fahrenheit weather and I ’ ve had no problem staying warm. I like the thumb holes in the jacket to help keep my hands warm, even if I eventually will start wearing gloves anyway once it gets colder. Those holes are helpful when it ’s the end of fall/beginning of winter. On top of the functionality, the jacket also looks very sleek and forms to the body well. I ’ ll probably wear this casually every once in awhile as well because it looks that good. Only complaint I have is with the hood. Luckily it ’s fairly light so it ’s not too distracting, but it ’s still a pain to go out for a run with my hood bouncing around. You can tuck the hood with the strap that comes with the jacket, but that ’s still a pain( albeit a small one) to roll up and even then it ’s not a perfect solution. Overall, I highly recommend this jacket! Definitely a keeper for my workout outfit rotation.

[ Brooks made a really nice quality hoodie. The material is a cross between athletic moisture wicking type and a thermal ribbed type. Material is fairly thin, but provides surprising warmth due to thermal ribs. It ’s great for running or outdoor exercise in cooler temperatures. I ’ ve been wearing it more as casual work/everyday attire. It provides about as much warmth as a long sleeve thermal shirt. I wouldn ’ t wear it in extreme cold but works well as a mid layer when temperatures are down. The thermal hood can be rolled up if you ’ re not using it. Medium size fits a 5 ’ 6 ”, 160lb male with athletic build very well. Sleeves and torso length are just right. Slightly form fitted with room for movement. Material is elastic and stretches. Zipper stash pocket and thumb holes are nice features. I ’ m very happy with the look and feel of this hoodie and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice athletic type hoodie.

[ I must say I ’ ve really enjoyed this shirt! The material is amazing! Warm enough but breathable with a great four way stretch in it! It ’s very comfortable and a perfect base layer when it needs to be! I also love the hood, it ’s shaped to my head, not tented or baggy. Fit is more on the fitted side but not so much that I ’ d size up just doesn ’ t have any loose areas. Love it! Definitely will buy more of these!

I really enjoy the fit on this style. I am 5' 8 '' and wear a Women's large. It has longer arms and longer length, which is so nice as a lot of other brands do n't cover my torso well. The fleece lining adds a lot of warmth layered under a shell or worn alone. The durable G100 added to the shoulders makes it water resistant, and keeps the jacket protected from friction from wearing a backpack. I 've had this piece for years now and it's my go- to layer on many occasions. It's fairly long, so I like that it covers the waistband of any pant. The sleeves are also long, so that helps if my hands get cold; I can grab the ends and keep my fingers covered. It's also thin as well as warm. It's the perfect layer under a hard shell for 45- 50 degrees, and also works alone on days that are warmer. Just overall one of my favorite pieces in my closet.
