I love these Sierra Mid Lace Waterproof Boots so much I purchased a second pair. They are so comfortable and great for walking/hiking long distances in any kind of weather. I learned very quickly that the Sorel Caribou boot was the Best way to keep feet dry and relatively warm in the Great white Tundra of the North East states. Although the prices continue to increase for them. I have had I pair in 65 years that did n't give at least ten plus years. They had good traction. I bought these for my mother whose previous boots she bought in the 90's finally gave up. She loved them when she got them and the mushroom color looks just like the silvery grey she had before. She had struggled to find a pair that had a reasonable heel and were comfortable inside, but these were perfect. She has wide feet( 4E) and this boot has a lot of give for that, while having good base and arch support, and the inside is well lined too. It keep her toes warm as she also gets cold very easily.
