She loves how they look and how comfortable they are. We purchased in her normal size, 3. They have room enough for her to grow a bit, but are not too big. They are easy for her to slip on and tighten easily with the pull string.

As for how they run I 'd go up one, she wears a 13 in sneakers( new balance) and we got the Y1 in these and they fit with room for nice thick socks. She says they felt very comfy, too. I learned very quickly that the Sorel Caribou boot was the Best way to keep feet dry and relatively warm in the Great white Tundra of the North East states. The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. I was outside for 2 hours and my feet and calves didn ’ t get cold. I was able to walk uphill on ice and not slip. They are comfortable and require little “ break in ”. Great purchase.
