I have used them a few times and they shed snow and water, and keep my feet pretty warm. The `` speedlacing system '' is a nice perk-- it means( I think) that there is an extra tab that holds the lace on the lower part of the boot tightly, so you can tighten the lower half and it will stay tight while you adjust and tie the upper half.

I would have gone with the next size up if I had known. Still breaking them in, so as far as durability, I will find out. My last pair, Sorel, held up for almost 30 years so I 'm hoping these will be my last snow boot purchase! So far they are decent. The boot liners had a bunch of animal fur stuck in them, and all over the outside soles. I wanted to try the 6 ” nylon ankle ice boots because I love the 6 ” deck boots I wear almost daily. They are very comfortable once on, have great support, good traction and are very warm! The only complaint I have, is that the top opening is not as wide as the regular deck boots, which makes them harder to just slip on and go. I had noticed that in the few reviews I had read, but wanted to try them anyway. A long handled shoehorn is needed, for me at least. Perhaps the designers thought a narrower opening would make them warmer, but it doesn ’ t allow for thicker socks. I kept them but probably won ’ t buy another pair in the future unless the opening is redesigned.

They lasted through some very extreme abuse from hauling headstones on a hand truck across miles worth of mud, dirt, rocks, gravel, clay and anything you can think of. They really bit into the ground when I needed it and didn ’ t slip easily. They just now broke down where I need new ones and are no longer waterproof just now. I ’ ll say, the insoles aren ’ t so great but I buy upgraded insoles a couple times a year. True to fit, broke in alright. The laces lasted almost a year. On the heavy side, but didn ’ t get in my way. Getting another pair with hopes of the same results!

I love these boots. Got my first pair of Georgia boots back in high school. Finally a waterproof boot advertised truthfully. Was n't big on the heel being so high but once I broke these in, they are my most comfortable boot. The ONLY negative I have is that, for a work boot, I expected tougher rubber. I 'm a manual machinist and all the hot sharp metal chips I pull are next to me on the ground. The tread has deteriorated and come to nearly unusable for hiking after only 6 months. I hate that because I 've had other brands I did n't care for like my danners and the tread was the only thing they had going for them, and those lasted well over two years. However I still love the comfort and waterproof to this boot. Many wet days in the mountains of North Idaho. I can hike comfortably for miles and miles up and down steep terrain without tiring and blistering my feet and my feet are always the only dry part of my body. First time in my life that's happened. Wore these for 8 days straight while hiking in Iceland. No blisters the whole time, just some irritation starting on the last day but not bad for not breaking them in at all. Kept water out when I was submerging my feet in stream water.

[ LOVE these shoes!!! So cute and comfortable. Needed warm, waterproof shoes with traction for a trip to Iceland. Straight out of the box these boots were comfy- no break in time necessary. Running around, prepping for trip, they kept my feet warm and dry in negative temps and snow. Standing for 4+ hours at a time, no problem. These were the only shoes I took on my 7- day trip: walking, hiking, ice, snow, rain, airports, shopping on cobblestone streets- you name it, I did it and my feet felt great. Fortunately I did not experience standing in deep snow or excessive rain, so I ca n't speak to how waterproof they are in extreme climates- but the limited rain and snow I encountered my feet stayed dry. Traction was good on snow and ice, I did n't slip or slide once. Use the website measurements to choose your size- it was spot on. These boots look amazing on- they do not make your feet look big and the cream color with the pink laces... cute, cute, cute!!! Bought them to wear on my trip, will happily be wearing them all the time. Do n't hesitate to purchase these boots, you will not be disappointed!
