Bought these to try for winter fat biking based on recommendations from others. These were on sale so figured why not. So far im impressed. I run flat petals and these grip well. Just the right amount of warmth without turning into a sauna. I have rode with these in the single digits night riding and have been comfortable. Reminds me of wearing my 510 trailcross shoes. In using them, working all day, my feet were n't sore like they have been with other boots. They are waterproof and best of all they are cool during the hot summers of south Louisiana because of their breathability properties. I like these a lot: They have a nice wide/not too wide footprint. They have good ankle support. They have great traction. They are very comfortable. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. But they are perfect for wet, slippery, or dry trail conditions and casual wear. To me, the picture makes them look like they have green trim: They are shades of grey, not green-- I was pleasantly surprised by that, and I think they are a good- looking pair of shoes.

I tried that for a bit with these and found it to be a little tight. They are comfortable without the inserts but I might try again in the future once they are completely broken in. I took these on my rafting trip down the GRAND CANYON. I brought them for the side hikes from the river. Which are usually washes with some water crossings. These shoes did so well! They have incredible traction for climbing over big rocks in dry washes, or on slick ledges. The traction is incredible! They were comfortable right off the go and my custom orthotics fit in then since they have a removable foot bed. I loved these boots on the trip! Completely waterproof over the foot but if water gets up to the mid part where the laces are water does come in. I am going to look for a goretex hiking gater for that.

I wanted to try the 6 ” nylon ankle ice boots because I love the 6 ” deck boots I wear almost daily. They are very comfortable once on, have great support, good traction and are very warm! The only complaint I have, is that the top opening is not as wide as the regular deck boots, which makes them harder to just slip on and go. I had noticed that in the few reviews I had read, but wanted to try them anyway. A long handled shoehorn is needed, for me at least. Perhaps the designers thought a narrower opening would make them warmer, but it doesn ’ t allow for thicker socks. I kept them but probably won ’ t buy another pair in the future unless the opening is redesigned.

I bought these boots for a long weekend trip to Providence, RI and Boston, MA. I wore them with thick wool socks and logged more than 5 miles each day running around the sights. They weee comfortable and warm. The temps dropped to 19 degrees with strong winds and even rain and my feet were dry and warm the whole time. I am very easily cold and uncomfortable- even in my home state of SC! I am grateful for these boots so my weekend was not ruined by having cold feet!

These are comfortable and can be slipped into without re- doing the laces which is a big plus for me. I bought these because they have a roll over the top winterized bottom. My last boots had the sole meeting the upper right at the bottom edge& that is where it blew out. Hoping that these last a long time like my last pair with the higher rubber section. True that they run small, I wear size 8. 5, bought boots in a size 10, fit perfectly.

My kid wears Boggs 3 seasons of the year, then Keen sandals/barefoot all summer. These are tall enough for good puddle/mud exploration, comfortable, and easy for your tot to get on or off by themselves.
