I have been waiting for a hooded version of a packable puffer that was still cute, and after enjoying other Halfdays products for skiing, I was excited when I saw this in their spring collection this year. This jacket arrived several weeks ago and has been great for everything I 've thrown at it! These are by far my favorite synthetic hiking shirts. So lightweight and breathable, beautiful colors, perfect fit, super comfortable, dries fast and wicks sweat. The raglan sleeves mean no seams for backpack straps to rub and cause irritation. A slightly higher UPF rating would be nice, but would also make the fabric heavier, so I understand the trade- off there. The smooth texture works well when layering too.

I love this shirt. I 'm 5' 9 '', 32D, ~145lbs, and I wear the small. It's classy enough to wear to work in my office; lightweight and cool enough to wear on trail. I like that it stretches, I like the buttons( I 'm not into snaps, too many wardrobe malfunctions), I like that it reaches my wrists( I have a 5' 7 '' wingspan), and I like that I feel good wearing it. The only thing that gets me is that the men's version has lots of color options and the women's is very limited. Maybe a nice sage green? Brick? Light blue? Dark pink? I 'll be checking the website

Not sure what all the griping about snap buttons is about, especially with a fabric so light. I 've pulled snaps out on technical fabric like this, which sucks more than the inconvenience of making sure a button is pushed through. This review is left on first impressions, so I have n't tested it in hot or sunny conditions yet. Based on my first impressions, I would n't hesitate to wear this regardless of what activities I have planned for the day. Golfing, biking, hiking or hanging out at the beach, you 'll look good doing it although you 'll probably need a new one after a crash.
