The Strike King Pro Model 5XD is one of my go- to deep diving crankbaits. It 'll get down to 15- 16 feet on a long cast and lighter line. The 5XD is heavy enough to chuck a long cast, and runs deep without overpowering my heavy powered, moderate action, crankbait rod. It's got good action and runs true out of the box. The hooks are solid. The bottom line is that it catches fish.
