This crankbait has a nice action in the water. The build quality and paint schemes are very nice. As with every 6th Sense Lure I 've used, this lure has sticky sharp hooks, which are great for hooking them on short strikes, but can make tying knots challenging. Overall, a good mid diving crankbait.

As the title suggests it ’s an awesome combo because it ’s a shallow diving crankbait with the rattle and action similar to a lipless crank. Overall I ’ m impressed with the action and so far it ’s been successful in muddy lakes and ponds

I have the 6th Sense Provoke jerkbait in both sizes and various colors. The hooks are sticky sharp, as all 6th sense hooks are, and these are no exception. They are noticeably sharper than hooks on any lure I 've purchased out of the package. Tying a knot can be challenging because the hooks are so sharp that you will constantly get poked. The colors are vibrant and exceptionally detailed. The lure has good action on the jerk and stops on a dime. So far I like them.

Crankbaits are designed to mimic the movement of baitfish, making them effective for attracting predatory fish. They can be used in various water conditions and depths, allowing anglers to target different species. Additionally, their diverse shapes and sizes enable anglers to adapt to changing fishing conditions.
Selecting the right crankbait depends on factors such as the type of fish you are targeting, the water depth, and the season. Consider the color and pattern that best matches the local forage, as well as the size and diving depth of the crankbait to ensure it reaches the desired zone. Experimenting with different styles can also help you determine what works best in your fishing environment.
Crankbaits are typically made from materials like plastic, wood, or a combination of both. Plastic crankbaits are lightweight and often more durable, while wooden ones can provide a more natural look and feel in the water. The choice of material can affect the buoyancy, action, and overall performance of the crankbait.
Crankbaits are versatile and can be used with various techniques, including steady retrieves, stop-and-go, or twitching. For best results, adjust your retrieval speed and technique based on the fish's activity level and the water conditions. Experimenting with different actions can help you find the most effective method for your fishing situation.
Crankbaits tend to perform well in warmer months when fish are more active and feeding aggressively. They are particularly effective in shallow waters, around structures, or during low-light conditions such as dawn and dusk. Understanding the behavior of the target species and the environment can help you determine the best times to use crankbaits.
