Swapped into my Air Jordan 1s for extra support. Not too thick that it changes the fit/sizing of the shoe. I have very flat feet so anything with an elevated/lifted heel usually causes back pain( which is why Jordan 1s are my preferred sneaker due to flatness of the shoe) but still needed something with arch support. These have held up after a month of solid work with no complaints. I purchased size range 13- 14 for my size 13 sneakers and they fit without having to be cut or modified, they maybe short in a size 14 of the same style sneaker.

The key is that they come in different sizes and arches. After experiencing heel pain similar to a time where I had plantar fasciitis I immediately scheduled time with a doctor at Twin Cities Orthopedics. He found that while I did not have plantar fasciitis I needed to strengthen my foot muscles& use an insole that would provide better arch support. I 've been using Superfeet insoles for decades. In ski boots, hiking boots, running shoes, etc. After trying other brands, I 've always come back to Superfeet, with the exception of Sole Performance re- corked medium insoles, but even that's a toss up. Once trimmed, the Superfeet feel good from the start and continue to serve me well for quite some time. I use them for walking distances, standing on my feet all day at work and light hikes. The family was getting ready for a 2 week trip to Europe. I told them we would be walking 100 miles in 2 weeks, and would need to find great walking shoes. I need arch support to NOT have foot pain. These are great. One issue I had was that the adjustable strap was too long, as my foot is not `` very tall. '' When I tightened the adjustable strap, the strap hit the floor/ground. So, I took them to a shoe repair shop and had the straps shortened by 1 inch. Now, they are perfect for my feet.

These are great! I previously wore a pair of all- black Classics with the same strap arrangement for almost a decade. When the tread and straps finally wore out and I wanted a different color, I decided to try these for a little more cushion. I like them so much! There's much less break- in time and they 're more squishy, but they still feel very supportive. I 'd absolutely re- buy( though I 'm hoping these last a while and are repairable should parts ever wear out so I do n't need to!).

Those sandals are the perfect travel shoes! I bought them for Costa Rica and they are great for hiking, wander and swimming. I was afraid that I needed to break those in, also because of the toe straps, but it worked so good, they ‘ re really flexible! I didn ’ t get any blisters and they ‘ re just so comfortable! My feet are also a little bit bigger and flat, but still plenty of space in my great sandals!:)
