Great action, but more of a do- little technique, so I 'm not complaining. I use with the smallest Elaztech TRD, although this jig head was designed for the newer, slightly larger TRD. Dick's did n't carry any Elaztech soft plastics, and did n't have any options of weight of the jig head, so I had to get one that was triple as heavy and sink rate than I would have liked, but it still works. Obviously hard to go wrong with the Ned Rig no matter where you are, so a jig head made especially for it is great.

The pics here are not correct. This is the pro bulletz in the pics. The finesse bullets do not have the big bulbous weight. But, these are great jig heads for fishing in weedy areas. I put a Z- Man Trick Shots Bad Shad on a 1/6 ounce size, and was slaying the bass at a local pond. Hooks are sharp, and the rig was able to get through most weeds easily. Only got hung up in some really heavy grasses a couple of times, but I was able to get out without losing, or even damaging, any tackle.

The Juggle Head jig was apparently designed to pair with the juggle minnow to impart a jerkbait action, but I have found it pairs with any fluke style bait and most plastic grub bodies. I have about 20 of these jigs. Where I fish, I lose jigs a lot. This is my best, most affordable option. It also happens to catch fish better for me than bigger jigs. I am totally addicted to these mini- jigs. Sometimes the line- tie is filled with paint, and the paint chips. I have yet to find a jig( at least a mini- jig) that does n't have the `` filled line- tie hole '' issue sometimes, and the chipped paint is n't a huge issue.

I have used this jig on Lewis Smith Lake in Alabama, a very deep and extremely clear lake for both spotted and largemouth bass with excellent results. Too often the choice has been either micro jigs with tiny hooks which are sometimes but not always a good fit, or, if some weight is desired, jigs with hooks jumped up to size 1 or 2, no mid ground. I bought this thinking it would be an obvious upgrade to the fimesse shroomz weedless jig head, especially when using larger baits like the big TRD. After using both versions, I prefer the finesse shroomz jig head. I find that it's easier to rig with elaztech than this model and gets hung up less on brush etc. That being said, if the finesse size is out of stock but this one is available, I will buy again. It is a stronger hook and would see that being beneficial fighting bigger bass.
