Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. The Glycerin StealthFit 22 is now my immediate go to for my daily exercise routine that includes indoor and outdoor training( walking, weight lifting and running). The fit of the shoe took me about a day to get adjusted, but was very comfortable from the beginning. I log about 15- 20 miles a week and have used the shoe for about 2 months, and it still provides plenty of support and comfort. I appreciate how easy it is to put on the shoe with the elastic around the ankle and how thick the soles are. The shoe is also made out of a very breathable fabric so my feet never feel overly warm. I purchased this shoe due to having plantar fasciitis the fit and the cushion allows me to be unphased by the plantar fasciitis. I am able to run 5- 10K with no issues or concerns. No shoe will ever be as good as the Gel- Cumulus 23, but I am very pleased with the GC- 27. Mile after mile of spongy comfort, excellent lateral support, great energy return. I 'll admit that I have always thought Altra shoes were not for me. Between the squared off toe box and the zero drop DNA; I just never gave them a chance. That all changed when they came out with the Experience collection and the move to a mid- drop ALTernative. I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. I was doing more trail/gravel running til late winter& switched to the track for later runs. This is my first carbon plate Nikes and I ca n't believe how much faster& lighter they feel on my feet. Of course now I want to try the vapor/alphas as well. I have really high arches and it is like they made this shoe to fit me perfectly. I may end up putting my insoles in but I had not even needed them for my first week of runs in them. I 'm definitely going faster than I 'd even imagined. Great shoes. I 'd love to see more colorways. I actually worked in them the first night I got them and had several complements. I felt like I was Tigger from Winnie the Pooh bouncing around the hospital all night.

I ’ m relatively new to road racing( having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

My running journey started March of 2024. 2 years before this mt doctor suggested I take my heart fort a brisk walk. The first year it was once a week and the second year twice a week. The third year they suggested 3 times a week and that ’s when I felt that I might be able to run. The 1st 2 weeks weren ’ t pretty as I ’ d run 100 ’ and walk a 100 ’ feet for 2 miles. Then I bought a pair of the Ghost 16 ’s and never looked back. I prefer to run at the colder temperatures between 20F and- 5F. Any of the shoes in the Brooks lineup will be a great shoe. Just ask a lot of questions to make sure you get the ones that are comfortable for you. Someday hopefully I ’ ll be able to get a pair of the Elite 4 shoes and take them out for a run. Pun intended. The Hyperion Max 2 are amazing shoes. I usually run in either Hyperions{ 1st generation and 2nd) or Adrenaline GTS 24, 2 pair) for recovery runs. I have an arsenal of Brooks shoes, 12 pairs to be exact. I enjoy everything about the Brooks shoes and won ’ t run in any other shoes.

They felt fast, while avoiding significant forefoot pain that I have dealt with in the past. Historically I was not a fan of high stack, or excess foam, however these shoes have changed my mind.

The only thing that I 'm disappointed in is that I did n't try these until right before the Vaporfly 4 replaces them. Absolutely loved these on my marathon training long runs and looking forward to wearing them in my first marathon. I also crushed my 5K PR in these shoes so I 'm loving how versatile and comfortable they are. Looking forward to trying out the Vaporfly 4 next! I followed the recommendation to size 1/2 size up and I 'm glad that I did. My feet are moderately wide so they fit perfectly!

Love the slimmer sole design on Vaporfly shoes, and these are no different. My old pair( previous model) was a little snug, so I sized up by half a size( from my normal size which, interestingly, does work for the Pegasus), and these fit really well. I 'm not sure why these size a little differently that other models, but take note.
