Superior cushioning and forefoot strike flexibility compared to my pairs of Nimbus 25& 26, and they are indeed better for both LR and tempo runs. Cushioning felt superb during 16+ mile long runs and feet/legs were far less sore the day after LRs until this shoe accumulated about 250 miles. Currently at 325 miles and cushioning is still ok and better than my newer Nimbus 26. I will try running in them during recovery runs after 350 miles.

[ I have been a fan of Brooks for years but this was my first time trying the Glycerin StealthFit 22, and I am so glad that I did! The Glycerin StealthFit 22 is now my immediate go to for my daily exercise routine that includes indoor and outdoor training( walking, weight lifting and running). The fit of the shoe took me about a day to get adjusted, but was very comfortable from the beginning. I log about 15- 20 miles a week and have used the shoe for about 2 months, and it still provides plenty of support and comfort. Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

My running journey started March of 2024. 2 years before this mt doctor suggested I take my heart fort a brisk walk. The first year it was once a week and the second year twice a week. The third year they suggested 3 times a week and that ’s when I felt that I might be able to run. The 1st 2 weeks weren ’ t pretty as I ’ d run 100 ’ and walk a 100 ’ feet for 2 miles. Then I bought a pair of the Ghost 16 ’s and never looked back. I prefer to run at the colder temperatures between 20F and- 5F. Any of the shoes in the Brooks lineup will be a great shoe. Just ask a lot of questions to make sure you get the ones that are comfortable for you. Someday hopefully I ’ ll be able to get a pair of the Elite 4 shoes and take them out for a run. Pun intended. The Hyperion Max 2 are amazing shoes. I usually run in either Hyperions{ 1st generation and 2nd) or Adrenaline GTS 24, 2 pair) for recovery runs. I have an arsenal of Brooks shoes, 12 pairs to be exact. I enjoy everything about the Brooks shoes and won ’ t run in any other shoes.

I just ordered my second pair of the Rubatos to replace the ones I ordered a year ago. I walk about 1- 4 miles a day and have worn these on about 66% of those walks. They provide plenty of cushioning and support. I can wear these for long periods of time without my lower back and feet hurting. Suggestions to make this the perfect shoe: a little bit better ventilation, a little more width in the toe box and maybe add 1mm to the lugs. I ’ ve only worn them for a few hours and they seem really comfortable. I ’ m a size UK 5. 5 with a high instep but always buy UK 6 and I have enough room in these trainers without them being too big. I tried these out on a 6 mile treadmill run and wow- these shoes are quick!! There is great support and the sole is perfect no matter where your foot strikes.( I ’ m a mid- forefoot striker). And they are super light; they feel much lighter than my other pairs( above). Looks like I ’ ll be using these for speed work. Kudos again Nike!

After running in the Torins and getting injured, like a fool I researched after. Knowing I need supporting shoes, I bought the Paradigm 5s and absolutely loved them. Once they wore out I bout the the 6s the foam was too soft and not supportive like the 5s. The 6s were also not responsive like the 5s. I took a gamble on the 7s because I heard they were firmer and they are way better than the 6s. People that started on the 6 probably wo n't like that, but people who started before the 6s and went to Paradigm for support will love them compared to the 6s.

Thank you, Altra for giving us the only zero- drop stability shoes with moderate/high cushion in the market. As someone who has had knee surgery and back issues, this shoe is a godsend. Super comfortable and stable. The arch support and the guidance rails are perfect. Please do n't change this combination Altra or discontinue this line. My only request to Altra is to give us a trail version of this gem! Currently, none of the Altra trail shoes have an arch support and guidance system.

These sneakers are everything I hoped they would be. As a women's size 11, I have to order my shoes since shops rarely carry my size. These are true to size, perhaps slightly narrow in the toe but not enough to size up IMO. I 'm almost 200lbs which is a lot of force coming down on my feet and I ca n't recommend these enough for heavier people. The support feels great and they are so light weight for the amount of support you get. No more tired aching feet! Worth every cent.
