We love this. My 6 year old( who is very tall for age) loves this for when we go on longer rides than she is used to. It does make it more work for me to balance but I would say this is minimal and nothing that feels unsafe. The rack attachment makes a little noise, especially when I hit bumps, but this is minor. The Switchback Expert has better frame geometry compared to a Trek Marlin. Up grading the heavy coil spring fork is not a problem with the tapered head tube to a light weight air spring fork will shave 5 lbs. off the bike. The rear wheel hub is a 141mm qr. is a limiting factor. No through axel. You can up grade to a 11 speed on the stock rear wheel. a new rear wheel with a Shimano wh- mt500 hub with microsline free wheel will get you 12 speed. The bike is light and fast and fun to ride. My only complaint would be that the directions for putting the bike together were quite confusing. [ I was extremely shocked by the quality of this bike. It not only is a beautiful blue color, but it has front and rear spring loaded suspension as well as is set up at a 1x9, having 1 front gear and 9 rear gears. The bike came extremely well packaged as well with extra plastic pieces to protect vital parts like the front brake rotor and the bottom of the front suspension. Straight out of the box there is some setup which could definitely be daunting to beginners, but it wasn ’ t too hard and the bike comes with instructions for setup as well as information for getting help setting up your new bike. Once setup, I played around with the shifting and found the derailleur shifted very smoothly through the 9 gears with little problem. This bike also came with flat pedals which was nice because most bikes I have purchased have not included pedals. As an experienced mountain biker I really appreciated all the features and the overall quality of this bike. I think this bike would be perfect for any beginner looking to start their journey into mountain biking. It is very solid aluminum and would be a great learner bike. I am excited for the weather to get better here in the Midwest so I can truly take this bike out on the trails and try it out!

I followed along the instruction booklet to be extra safe in assembling but it was very simple and quick even if you ’ re not used to putting things together. Also all the tools were conveniently provided and organized, and the instruction manual had troubleshooting tips if you run into any bumps. Riding the e- bike is a really good time, I was surprised how much I enjoyed it the first time. It has three modes where you can either pedal alone, use the electric power alone, or a combination of the two. I love that it has the option for you to pedal alone and get a good workout in and then switch to the electric whenever you want. It's perfect for both leisurely rides, a good cardio session, or a quick trip or commute wherever you have to go. Great way to incorporate spending more time outdoors! The ride is really comfortable and I also appreciate the bike's compact size, which makes it easy to store and transport. The battery lasts a long time, it has always had enough battery for how long I was out riding. I 'm really impressed with the quality and performance of the Bolt Pro X. If you 're looking for an efficient, fun electric bike, that will give you new possibilities to venture out to this is the one to go for. Highly recommend!

I just received this bike and took it out for a spin, wow! It looks like the bike was made and packaged by NASA. Open the box, twist on the pedals and you 're ready to ride. The design ingenuity allows for easy fold up to ride, and fold down to store nice and compact. I 'm 6' 185lbs and it could n't be a more comfortable ride, and plenty powerful enough to get me where I 'm going. Was a little disappointed that my son wasn ’ t able to run this for his last day to school as they gave me the wrong battier key. But the product itself has been running flawlessly so far. Can ’ t beat the bang for your buck on a product like this. I ’ ve had double wheel trailers to pull kids, but when you just have cargo, the single wheel version is much easier to pull and navigate. Hooking onto the axle nuts is pretty straightforward, but there ’s a little bit of rattle, so wish it was a bit tighter fit. Pulling is pretty easy with an E bike even on low levels. Keep the heaviest items on the bottom of the trailer and ride on.
