This is my third purchase and installation of a YakGear anchor trolley kit. I loved it on my first two kayaks and had to have it for my new Pelican Catch 100 also purchased from Dick ’s. I often fish areas where winds and/or currents carry me away from a hot spot and force me to quit fishing in order to paddle back to where the fish are. The trolley allows me to stay put and to be pointed in the right direction at the same time. Installation was easy thanks to multiple how- to videos on the internet. Only tools required are a drill and a Phillips screwdriver or rivet gun. Great product at a good price.

Installed on a Wilderness Pungo 120 using You Tube directions. The written directions were confusing. Using You Tube, installation was a piece of cake. I 've only used the set up twice. Each trip it worked great. The second trip was windy with 10- 13 mph. winds. Anchored with the wind at my back so I was able to cast left, right and front. Glad I had the set up, otherwise the trip would have been a bust. Fishing would have been impossible.

I stack two kayaks on each other and pull them up together. I 'm probably getting close to the max weight that way but it works for my situation. Hardware is sturdy. Rope seems soft but has n't worn out after a few years use. Just something I keep an eye on. Works well. After all this time I expect the hardware to continue to be robust and the rope is doing better than expected. [ Great Product. This is my second one. I would suggest getting this HD version with the plastic backer plates. Skip the well nuts, and use this instead, you will thank yourself later. Plus install is easier now that you have a something to grip onto from the inside! Rope is plenty long and strong for any Yak/Canoe. I am very happy with my purchase of the Malone J- dock Kayak& Gear storage rack. Installation was easy. I did use a bigger drill bit than instructed to drill the pilot holes for the screws, and used socket rather than a wrench to make it easier on myself. The whole installation was about 20 minutes. Once installed, placing my kayaks in the cradles took about 10 minutes. The straps to hang the second kayak did not ratchet as easily as I would have liked, and I suggest using your own straps, having help to take weight off the straps while you ratchet them up, or using something under the kayak to hold it up while you tighten the straps. Either way, once they kayak is up and the straps tightened the kayaks are secure and the system is great! I also liked having the ability to store my paddles on the rack.

We had to buy a 2x4 to hang it between two support posts that were too far apart to use for the sling, but everything else came included in the package as advertised. Our kayaks weigh about 45 lbs each and it did take two of us to get them in the sling, but I think one strong person could do it alone, especially the bottom one. Price was great, under$ 30. Hopefully it will last as it is protected from sun and rain.

I bought this because I fish on a kayak and needed something that was water tight and quick to get in and out of plus not being super heavy. It makes a great tackle box and a place to put my Canon Dslr in when I do water photography.. the only one bad thing is the top compartment that has two tabs on them for like keys fishing jigs that u might want to use again in a short time frame the two tabs don ’ t really click into good but if u don ’ t mind losing something out of it when I flip it over it ’s fine as of Now I have not had anything fall out but I ’ m sure that day will come other then that the Box is A++! Has a nice O ’ ring seal for the big compartment and does a great job keeping the water out!.. So far, it is exactly what we needed, it is easy to clean has lots of storage for all your tackle and if you have extra room, you can put snacks in your boxes. But if you ’ re like me, you can ’ t have too many lures, weights, etc.  you can just plop this bad boy on the ground in the mud. It doesn ’ t matter one quick swipe with the water hose and it ’s clean. It looks to be made of good quality materials. It is convenient to have a rod holder, a plier holder, and a knife sheath. [ It ’s super easy to install or remove the rocket rack. I used to be an avid fisherman. It ’s kind of hard to do now with my neck and with my service dog. She ’s not exactly patient and doesn ’ t care for fish much. I decided what the heck and I am glad that I did because it adds stability as well as a means to secure and support much more than several rods. I am happy that I purchased it.
