I purchased the Hyperion 2s after researching speed/ tempo based shoes and reading reviews/ recommendations. This is my first pair of Brooks and I am very happy with the purchase. The shoes are quick and promote a fast turnover and forefoot strike, which suits me well. I 'll consider buying Brooks again as I replace other shoes in my rotation.

The 14, 15 and 16 's were not good for me due to toe box and forefoot issues but these new 17 's hit the sweet spot with balanced heel comfort, toe off and ride. This shoe is hot the flames on the side of the shoe makes it look fast. I love the fit as its does not run to large or to small its perfect fit. I purchased this shoe due to having plantar fasciitis the fit and the cushion allows me to be unphased by the plantar fasciitis. I am able to run 5- 10K with no issues or concerns. Just always remember to stretch after running.

My last pair was the Ghost 15. They were great, then one day I looked at the sizes and realized the shoe store sent me home with an 11 4E and 11. 5 2E. After that I had to retire them much to early, the store changed ownership. I now have the Glycerin GTS 22. So far so good. Took them with me to Europe. I ran with them in Florence and Rome, what a cool experience. I am new to the Brooks family, and am very pleased.

Soft and responsive. Good traction. Tough sole with rock guard. Only complaint is I wish Brooks would sell a high top version for hiking. I wear Brooks Ghost Max and those are about near perfect for a running shoe. The Caldera 8 has close to the same feel and just slightly less cushion. Which is what is needed when trail hiking or running. I would love to see a Max version of this shoe for better trail running platform and a High top version for my long hikes where I need ankle support
