I have used this many times and always catch bass. Very wonderful bait

5 ChopSocky
I used to use rage craws, but as we all know, one fish and the craw was toast! Sometimes just a bite would tear the claws off rendering it useless. This is the solution! I use them Texas rigged, for pitching and flipping, and they work GREAT as jig trailers. I can fish with one bait all day because of how strong they are, but also they have better action then most any other rage tail product. Try these and you wo n't go back.

5 Abe523
I bought two packs of these a couple weeks ago-- one bama craw and one black and blue. I had great success fishing them both as jig trailers and texas rigged. They do get torn up easily, but the fish kept hitting them. I had a claw fall off one and caught another five fish on it anyways. Best soft plastic I 've used in a while. I will definitely buy more in the future!

5 Jiggaman
Great action punch it, jig it, drag it, swim it. Bass love it. Sometime never reach the bottom. fast delivery

5 Bigbassslayer
Since I started using this lure I have n't been able to put it down. Using it on a 3/8 oz tungsten bullet sinker, 20 lb braid, and 7' 6 MH rod. Although the do n't last long, their better than most soft baits. I 've bought 6 packs since post spawn. I 've caught tons of bass on this lure in green pumpkin.

The perfect lure for catching bass!!! A must have!!

5 Gmeds
I truly love these baits! They have such action and catch tons of fish

At first I was very skeptical about the googan baits but I decided to give a few different styles a try. The bandito bug has turned into my favorite flipping creature/craw soft plastic. Whether it ’s a pegged texas rig, jig trailer or my favorite... a Picasso wobble head. It always catches fish. When I first saw the bait in person, I thought it was too little for the lakes I fish but once I saw the action under water, I was very surprised at how wide those back legs kicked.. it gave it a larger appearance which was perfect. And that scent is amazing. Stays strong until the bait is unable to use. And yes, they are a little soft and can break easy but that ’s the price you pay for a bait with good action.

5 TommyT098
I bought these and landed about 10 fish( missed about 30) in only about 2 hours. One tip, if you buy from dicks, go in store and do the price match guarantee and only pay$ 6 rather than$ 7 for them. Other wise great baits and caught tons of fish, but they rip easily.

5 Calsdadhunting
This is the soft bait I put on when nothing else seems to work. Good for Texas rigging, but great for drop shotting, especially wacky rigged. The only issue is that if you rig them with an o- ring, the bass will occasionally pull them out of the o- ring( even with the small o- rings). The bass grab them and won ’ t let go!

Frequently Asked Questions For Bug Bait

Bug bait is designed to mimic the natural movement and appearance of insects, making it an effective choice for attracting various fish species. These baits often feature realistic textures and colors that can entice fish to bite. Additionally, they can be used in a variety of fishing environments, from freshwater to saltwater, enhancing your chances of a successful catch.

Bug bait is particularly effective for catching species such as bass, trout, and panfish, as these fish are known to feed on insects and other small creatures. The realistic design of bug baits can trigger instinctive feeding responses in these fish, making them more likely to strike. Anglers often use bug baits during warmer months when fish are more active and feeding on surface insects.

To use bug bait effectively, anglers often employ techniques such as slow retrieval or twitching to mimic the erratic movement of live insects. It can also be beneficial to vary the depth at which the bait is presented, as fish may be feeding at different levels in the water column. Experimenting with different retrieval speeds and patterns can help determine what works best for the specific fishing conditions.

Bug baits are typically made from soft, flexible materials that allow for realistic movement in the water. Common materials include rubber or plastic, which can be infused with scents or flavors to further attract fish. The choice of material can impact the durability and action of the bait, so it's important to consider the type of fishing and conditions when selecting bug bait.

Selecting the right bug bait depends on various factors such as water clarity, temperature, and the specific fish species targeted. In murky waters, baits with brighter colors or more pronounced features may be more effective, while natural colors can work better in clear conditions. Additionally, considering the time of year and the insects present in the environment can help you choose a bug bait that closely resembles local prey.
