I bought this on a whim not knowing how to use it. First try was on a Ned rig and it worked really well, after the second cast I got three decent size bass. Thought how else can I use this. It was a windy day so I thought I can just throw this out on a drop shot and let the current do the work and surprisingly it did. After about five minutes with this just sitting out there, I never moved it, a three and a half pound bass decide to eat it. Great little bait.

I truly love these baits! They have such action and catch tons of fish

At first I was very skeptical about the googan baits but I decided to give a few different styles a try. The bandito bug has turned into my favorite flipping creature/craw soft plastic. Whether it ’s a pegged texas rig, jig trailer or my favorite... a Picasso wobble head. It always catches fish. When I first saw the bait in person, I thought it was too little for the lakes I fish but once I saw the action under water, I was very surprised at how wide those back legs kicked.. it gave it a larger appearance which was perfect. And that scent is amazing. Stays strong until the bait is unable to use. And yes, they are a little soft and can break easy but that ’s the price you pay for a bait with good action.

TommyT098
I bought these and landed about 10 fish( missed about 30) in only about 2 hours. One tip, if you buy from dicks, go in store and do the price match guarantee and only pay$ 6 rather than$ 7 for them. Other wise great baits and caught tons of fish, but they rip easily.

Chigger craws in the 4 '' size WILL catch bass! Texas rigging them and putting on a 1/8 ou. worm weight will put the bait in the hit zone, and will keep it pretty much snag free. I use this bait almost every time I go out fishing for largemouth. Finally, they hold up pretty well.

The King Rage Tail Baby Craw is my go to bait in the upper Susquehanna River. Rigged a 2/0 weighted swim bait hook my friends and I were able to regularly catch upwards of 35/40 small mouth bass with a few walleye and rock bass thrown in. I fish it from a boat or shore, works well both ways.

It has great action for when the fish are more aggressive, and I believe scent compliments it very well because I 've used this craw vs another brand( no scent) on a jig and they swallowed it as soon as I made the switch. I 've bought many more since then!

I 've been very happy with the action, durability and color options of the Rapala Cleanup Craw. I 've used it as a jig trailer and Texas rigged it on an EWG hook with success. The claws do n't tear off on short strikes which is a huge plus. The forward facing appendages on the side of the craw flutter when retrieved. The two tone color of the plastic and glitter look great in the water. Most importantly, this lure gets bit.

Crawler baits are soft plastic lures designed to mimic the movement and appearance of various aquatic creatures, particularly crawfish and worms. They are commonly used in freshwater fishing to attract species such as bass and trout. Anglers typically rig them on hooks and present them near structures or in areas where fish are likely to feed.
Crawler baits are usually crafted from soft plastic materials that provide a realistic feel and action in the water. Many baits are infused with scents or flavors to enhance their attractiveness to fish. The flexibility of these materials allows for lifelike movements that can entice fish to strike.
Crawler baits offer several advantages, including their ability to mimic natural prey effectively, which can lead to increased catch rates. Their soft texture allows for a more subtle presentation, making them ideal for finicky fish. Additionally, they can be used in various fishing techniques, such as Texas rigging or drop shotting, providing versatility for anglers.
Crawler baits tend to perform well in warmer months when fish are actively feeding and can be particularly effective in shallow waters near structures like rocks, logs, or vegetation. They are also useful in murky waters where their movement and scent can attract fish from a distance. Adjusting the retrieval speed can enhance their effectiveness based on the conditions.
Choosing the right color of crawler bait often depends on the water clarity and the type of fish you are targeting. In clear waters, natural colors that mimic local prey are usually effective, while brighter or darker colors can be better in murky conditions. Observing the local forage and experimenting with different colors can help determine what works best for your specific fishing environment.
