Also very effective for nighttime topwater. ... So versatile, great action. ... Just easy fishing. ... For me( so fla ponds and canals) the most effective method is a long cast to the edge of the lilies, let it hit the bottom, pick it up and let it fall- great action on the tail and if rigged...

The best all around lure i have used. It has great action with the flip tail. Purchased at Dicks because of grand opening and had a coupon. Their normal prices are about$ 1. 00 more than other retailers in the area. Will continue to purchase at other outlets until Dicks lowers their prices to meet the competition.

Long- lasting product, bass do LOVE EM. Zoom does make good fishing products.

Been using swimming flukes since they came out... have caught bass, snook, reds and speckled trout. Use them as a swimbait Texas rigged with a pegged bullet weight. Use them weightless worked real slow and easy, just twitch them or bring to the top and let them sink back down to the bottom or buzz them on top. You can go fishing with only this bait and always catch fish. Houdini is my favorite color... What a bait!!

I have switched to the Zoom Swimmin' Super Fluke as my `` go to '' bait for both small and largemouth bass fishing. They can be very effectively fished as a surface bait in very thick aquatic vegetation and are extremely effective when fished that way for largemouth bass. They can also be fished as a `` wake bait '' or fished more slowly as a subsurface bait. My favorite colors are Baby Bass, Pearl, and Houdini. You need to have several bags of these in your arsenal!

Frequently Asked Questions For Cut Baits

Cut baits are pieces of fish or other marine life that are cut into smaller sections to attract various species of fish. They are often used in saltwater and freshwater fishing as they release natural scents and oils into the water, making them effective for attracting fish. Anglers typically use cut baits on hooks or rigs, allowing them to present the bait in a way that mimics natural prey.

Cut baits are versatile and can be effective for catching a wide range of fish species. Common targets include catfish, striped bass, and various saltwater species such as snapper and grouper. The effectiveness of cut baits often depends on the local fish population and the specific fishing conditions.

When choosing cut baits, consider the type of fish you are targeting, the water conditions, and the local bait preferences. Freshness is crucial, as fresher cut baits tend to be more effective. Additionally, the size and cut of the bait can influence its appeal, so it's important to match the bait size to the fish species you are trying to catch.

To keep cut baits fresh and effective, store them in a cool environment, ideally in a refrigerator or cooler with ice. If using frozen cut baits, ensure they are properly thawed before use, as this helps preserve their scent and texture. Avoid leaving cut baits exposed to warm temperatures for extended periods, as this can lead to spoilage.

Using cut baits effectively involves selecting the right rig and presentation method. Common techniques include bottom fishing, where the bait is placed on the ocean or lake floor, or using a float to suspend the bait at a specific depth. Experimenting with the size of the cut and the distance from the shore can also help improve your chances of attracting fish.
