I bought this on a whim not knowing how to use it. First try was on a Ned rig and it worked really well, after the second cast I got three decent size bass. Thought how else can I use this. It was a windy day so I thought I can just throw this out on a drop shot and let the current do the work and surprisingly it did. After about five minutes with this just sitting out there, I never moved it, a three and a half pound bass decide to eat it. Great little bait.

Bought the lure to augment an offshore trolling spread consisting of surface and near- surface lines. Fished the plug on 20- pound trolling outfit, with 12- foot 150- pound mono leader, run about 100 feet down the middle. The plug pulls hard when trolled at 7 to 8 knots, but digs down and swims well, even at that speed-- although anglers should be warned that at that speed, a 20 is about as light as you can go, as the lure will take line off the reel if anything less than 7 pounds of drag is used. Primary target for the lure was dolphin( mahi- mahi), which hit it well when not showing on the surface; the plug drew a strike from my largest mahi of the 2018 season.

I used to use rage craws, but as we all know, one fish and the craw was toast! Sometimes just a bite would tear the claws off rendering it useless. This is the solution! I use them Texas rigged, for pitching and flipping, and they work GREAT as jig trailers. I can fish with one bait all day because of how strong they are, but also they have better action then most any other rage tail product. Try these and you wo n't go back.

They do get torn up easily, but the fish kept hitting them. I had a claw fall off one and caught another five fish on it anyways. Best soft plastic I 've used in a while. The claws do n't tear off on short strikes which is a huge plus. The forward facing appendages on the side of the craw flutter when retrieved. Got this as a gift, and while they had some pretty standard softbaits, there were a few lures I probably not have spent my own$ to try as I 'm more of a tried and true lure buyer, but looking forward to seeing if the bass like 'em. Got a total of 12 lures /hooks, etc. and the value is pretty good as from major fishing stores( minus online fishing membership stores) the total cost if I was to purchase would be$ 81 and change, while the box is 60( plus tax).
