I purchased these in white& am very happy with them. Please consider adding black as a color choice. As a by women for women brand, many working women in, for example, the food service industry, need a comfortable black shoe. These would be perfect. I would certainly buy another pair, if black were offered as a color choice. I like the podflow EZ walker because the bungee closure is comfortable for my feet as I have a high instep and the shoelaces that tie on the other podflw model do not fit my foot as comfortably.

I 've only done a 9 mile hike so far but this `` Hiking Sneaker '' can handle it. I hiked over some very jagged rocks, mud, and even snow and it handled it like it was nothing as the high ankle support and decently grippy traction held up very well. I expected some damage to the outsole afterwards as I was stepping on rocks at sharp angles but to my surprise they held up. It's definitely gotten dirty by now but I got the beige colorway so it kind of blends in. The upper of this hiking sneaker is definitely much tighter and it hurt a bit when I started my hike but keep in mind I have flat feet and other reviews of this sneaker say that you need to break it in which was true later on in my hike as they did n't hurt at all. This shoe is definitely for me as I 'm not a serious hiker, I chose this shoe because I liked the looks of it and wanted a more serious shoe outside of my Ultraboost ATRs which are more focused for trails rather than hiking. I plan on taking this on many more hikes though.

ordered these for my wife as i recommened them to her since I already had the Free Hiker Gore tex hiking boots. we recently came back from a 6 hour hike with various type of terrain. she mentioned they were the most comfortable hiking shoes shoes owned, slightly wider around the toe box which she appreciates. no break in period, no blisters, feet did n't get tired. overall great grip she felt confident that she wouldnt slip even on looser soil/dirt and when going up steep inclines and going down steep declines. Great for smaller hikes or trail walking although if you want more ankle support I 'd recommend going with the Free Hiker Hiking boot instead. 100% recommend

I love Merrell Moab ’s, wear them every day and have 5 pair. But as hot as this summer has been, I wanted a pair of lighter weight shoes. I started with Merrell styles, but had no luck getting a good fit for my problem feet—a neuroma and plantar fasciitis on one foot and a bunion on the other. I also tried styles from all the highly rated shoes for walking, including those with gel insoles. They all bothered my neuroma, and the gels were so bouncy they made me feel a little unsteady on my feet. So I went back to Merrell and tried the speed solo, ordered up a half size, and finally found my fit! The shoes seemed narrow at first, but after wearing them a couple of times, they ’ re as comfortable as my Moab ’s.

[ I 'm an Altra enthusiast. My last pair fell apart after so little wear so I decided to give these Hokas a go. They are n't as blocky as the other Hoka models and have loads of grip. There's a little more of a heel lift to these vs. the Altra Olympus, but not much. They run pretty wide. I have severe plantar fasciitis and have to switch shoes on the regular. These are part of my rotation and have been great. I like the traction, support and waterproof features. I bought these shoes at a local running store and I am in love with them! I never thought I could love a tennis shoe more. I bought them specifically for my job. I am a graphic designer most of the time but there are a few times a year that I am a photographer for my work and one is for a week at a time. It ’s about 4 hours of constant walking, bending, crouching and stretching which is not the norm for me. Last year I developed pain in my lower back that I had for many weeks after the event week was done and the event was a struggle to do well. I took this on my first trip to the western states and used them hiking in Estes State Park and Yellowstone, my legs were sore from the inclines and walking long before my feet ever where! This is my second pair of Konos TRS shoes and they are just as comfortable as the ones I bought last year. Taupe color is exactly as pictured and fits true to size. I 've walked trails and sidewalks in these shoes and have no foot pain and my feet stay put, no sliding in the shoe and no heel slips. Easy to clean up if they get dirty on a trail. Suggestions: wear ankle socks the first couple wears to break them in, I wore no- shows the first wear and had some uncomfortable rubbing on my achilles till about the 3rd wear.

I had a total knee replacement a few years ago, so all these new foam sneakers that allow the back/heel of the shoe to rotate laterally are not good for me. I finally decided I had to come up with a new approach to finding a sneaker. I saw these sneakers and thought, hey! If this is for trail running, then it's got to be made with better stability. I gave it a shot and was so pleasantly surprised! These sneaks have good arch support and have cushion that seems resilient vs. the cheap foam in a lot of new sneakers that just compress. There is good stability to prevent your foot from rotating side to side in the heel. I walk my dog at a fast pace 2x per day every day for about 30 minutes each, so I put on miles pretty quickly. Seems to be holding up pretty well! The logo is a bit large for my taste, but that's just cosmetic. The only thing that's a little odd is the material, which seems like maybe it's less breathable in the toe box area vs. the average sneaker. However, I ca n't really tell because it's still cold out, so when it gets warmer I 'll have a better idea of that. Overall, pleasantly surprised and very happy to put them on my feet every day!

Great support, AMAZING traction, seem pretty tough and waterproof, good sturdy vs. lightweight ratio. But the tongues end in rough leather. There is a weird V cut in the center of the tongue where my shin sits; it rubs. Still great shoes, guess I will just wear thicker/higher socks

Very nice lightweight( Merrell calls light- hiking) shoe with a lug sole that compares with a moderate or full hiking shoe. Sole not as stiff as heavier duty hikers but does the job well for me in moderate to difficult trails.

Merrell has been the preferred brand for my feet for years. Search& rescue, hiking and everyday wear. These were purchased for everyday as sole is not as aggressive like Moab Vibram. Did not realize they are slip ons until receipt. Initially skeptical. Wrong. They are the most comfortable shoes I ’ ve had in years. For me better than Moab ’s. [ Super sharp looking and great for hikes. I had to get the 7's stretched out a bit, but then they fit perfectly( I 'm normally a 6. 5 but wanted room for socks). Have n't had a chance to test out the waterproofing, but I bought these for a trip to Belize in the rainy season, so I guess we 'll see!

This is my second pair of this shoe. I wore the first pair nearly every day, year round for three years until the soles wore down. Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I am male, wear a men's size US 6/Euro 39 shoe, and have difficulty finding my size, and a women's size 7. 5 works with this shoe. Asolo was a new brand name for me and I 'm sold on their quality and fit. The waterproof feature is a bonus, especially in winter.

[ I love the look of these and they were generally comfortable, but just wearing them around the house for a few minutes it was clear that the narrow footbed would be a problem on longer hikes, so sadly having to return. I do n't have particularly wide feet and usually do fine in regulars from other brands, these just run more narrow than most. They do also seem to run large- probably best to try in a store if you can.
