Best smallmouth bass plastic lure of all time!! I would without a doubt choose these over plastic tubes any day. Works in cold and warm water, nice overcast or bright sunny day, river or lake. Most of my success has been on these baits. Regardless of the body of water I 've caught fish on them. They look so real that I went to pick up one I thought I dropped and found out it was the real thing. Now if I could only find them locally. If they are discontinued, I 'll be very disappointed.

Chigger craws in the 4 '' size WILL catch bass! Texas rigging them and putting on a 1/8 ou. worm weight will put the bait in the hit zone, and will keep it pretty much snag free. I use this bait almost every time I go out fishing for largemouth. Finally, they hold up pretty well.

I bought this on a whim not knowing how to use it. First try was on a Ned rig and it worked really well, after the second cast I got three decent size bass. Thought how else can I use this. It was a windy day so I thought I can just throw this out on a drop shot and let the current do the work and surprisingly it did. After about five minutes with this just sitting out there, I never moved it, a three and a half pound bass decide to eat it. Great little bait.
