This is absolutely the best yoga mat I ’ ve ever owned. It looks and performs like or better than MUCH more expensive mats! It ’s extra thick, with a much more substantial and luxurious feel. The extra grippy texture on the backside made sure my mat didn ’ t slip at all on the slick hardwood floors at my yoga studio. This Calia yoga mat is my favorite. Two best things are its length and grip. I ’ m 5 ’ 8 ” tall so many yoga mats are to short, not this one. I can keep my feet and hands on the matt. No more slippery grip cuz my feet don ’ t fit. The grip is amazing, even when my hands get sweaty. This mat is a bit on the heavier side but that ’s the trade off for the length and grip.

I purchased this yoga mat at my local Dick's Sporting Goods Store. I had been wanting a really good mat after attending Hot Yoga with an' ordinary' Target- brand mat. I was slipping and sliding all over the place with my previous mat. With the Manduka PRO Mat, I was calm- cool- and stable. It was wonderful! It is a little slick at first( the protective coating has to wear off), but that will get better with time. I have become a Manduka fanatic after using this mat. FYI- it is a little heavy. I would recommend purchasing a yoga strap or yoga bag to haul this puppy around in.

I actually picked this up for outdoor boot camp class. Our classes are held at an elementary school playground on the blacktop. It gets really dirty, unfortunately but the cushion is superior to cheaper mats and the grip was great on day one even though the package says you need to break it in a bit. I have a tailbone that sticks out so I need good padding. It's a great mat for yoga as well, of course.

I love this Yoga Mat! It's super great for at home workouts. I work out at home 4- 5 times a week. I had another yoga mat that was squishier, but this one is better in more ways. I like that this yoga mat stays in place and does n't slip around while I 'm doing mountain climbers, or other exercises. It's not as squishy when I 'm doing pushups on my knees, but maybe I need to do regular pushups from now on! It's comfortable enough for crunches, but great for yoga as well.

If, like me, you have a prominent coccyx( tailbone) and bruise a lot there when doing crunches, pilates, or yoga, this is the most comfortable mat I 've found. It does make for slightly less stability when doing anything that requires standing on a single foot( I just step off the mat for those) but I find the trade off more than worth it. I have had no durability issues, and it is going on 2 years old now. I do alternate the direction in which I roll it to prevent creasing, though that may be unnecessary on my part. Overall a great mat for comfort, and if I wear mine out, I plan to buy the same one again.

I like it, for the price it is what it's advertised as. A yoga/pilates mat which fits me from head to toe( i 'm 5'8). It is thicker than most yoga mats which i appreciate. It does slip as i 'm doing some more strenuous exercises, like side planks for example, but not enough to bother me.

I thought the concept of `` yoga in bed '' was a little silly until I got this mat: my sessions come pretty darn close with it, and I get even more out of my workouts. I use this mat mainly for pilates, but have learned to stabilize on its thicker foundation with all of the yoga poses I do often( including all of the warriors and even balancing poses like half moon).
