I purchased this yoga mat at my local Dick's Sporting Goods Store. I had been wanting a really good mat after attending Hot Yoga with an 'ordinary' Target- brand mat. I was slipping and sliding all over the place with my previous mat. With the Manduka PRO Mat, I was calm- cool- and stable. It was wonderful! It is a little slick at first( the protective coating has to wear off), but that will get better with time. I have become a Manduka fanatic after using this mat. FYI- it is a little heavy. I would recommend purchasing a yoga strap or yoga bag to haul this puppy around in.

I have been using a good mat for yoga, though basic, it has helped me 6 months in my practice. This Manduka mat is really worth the price since it has enough cushioning, not so much that makes one lose balance but good for a head stand. Also, it has a great grip for positions when you press hard with hands and feet. It is long enough for me to fit laying down and it is n't that heavy. A very good product overall, I highly recoment it for anyone who practices yoga or even other sports.

I actually picked this up for outdoor boot camp class. Our classes are held at an elementary school playground on the blacktop. It gets really dirty, unfortunately but the cushion is superior to cheaper mats and the grip was great on day one even though the package says you need to break it in a bit. [ So far I 've only used this for one class, but it is not slippery! I go to buti yoga, which is sort of like a combination between cardio and yoga, and I sweat, although I am not a heavy sweater. It involves a lot of downward dogs, and I felt much more stable than I did on my previous mat. My hands felt grounded and did not slide. The mat did seem a bit slick when I first received it, but I read lots of reviews and followed a few suggestions: leaving it out in the sun for a few hours( it was 80 degrees), rubbing a fine grain sandpaper over it( once over, applying a bit of force), and using a heavy duty scotch- brite sponge with some cleaner( I used Mrs. Meyers) before rinsing it off and letting it dry. I maybe spent 10- 15 minutes using the sandpaper and cleaner. And it worked! I am hopeful that this is my soul mat.

I love this Yoga Mat! It's super great for at home workouts. I work out at home 4- 5 times a week. I had another yoga mat that was squishier, but this one is better in more ways. I like that this yoga mat stays in place and does n't slip around while I 'm doing mountain climbers, or other exercises. It's not as squishy when I 'm doing pushups on my knees, but maybe I need to do regular pushups from now on! It's comfortable enough for crunches, but great for yoga as well.

[ my gym uses this yoga towel and it stays put from all the sticky dots when doing yoga, so i bought one for myself to use at home for yoga and working out. it does n't stay perfectly in place if you are jumping around during a cardio workout but it works great for yoga poses

I got the yoga Mat towel because I found the mat I had was hard to keep clean and saw that these could be washed. It is beautifully colored. Easy to carry and to put in place when ready to use. It is easy to store and the best part is that it washes. I do not have a dryer and it does line dry well. It came out perfect and ready for use again. I prefer this over my mat for the pilates I do at home.

Like it's sister mats, this one is super sticky so you have good grip on your mat no matter what asana you choose; from Dancer, Warrior 2, or handstands, there will be no slippage on your mat! [ This is my second eKO SuperLite Yoga Mat. I keep one in my office for lunchtime yoga breaks, and the second goes backpacking with me. As it's lightweight, it is n't as well cushioned as my heavier Manduka mat, but it has excellent traction and folds down so packably small!

Good bye old purple yoga mat, hello blue heaven! GoFit's Pilates Mat is exceptional, and the price for such comfort..... absolutely reasonable- underpriced if anything! I have bought a couple of mats searching for enough cushioning to use on hardwood floors& only got bruises. If you have hardwood floors or any hard surface- you must get this mat, if I could give more stars I would=) The curling issue, not a biggie. Keep the box it comes rolled up in, and reverse roll it. After each use, roll up opposite of last roll and place it back in box. I LOVE THIS, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

I just received this mat. NO ODOR at all! Yes, it was in a roll during shipping, so of course the ends turned up a bit. I TURNED IT OVER on my hardwood floors and that was the end of that problem. It does n't slip. Not on the floor. Not under my feet. No matter which side is facing down. It's thick, THICK, soft but sturdy. My body does n't feel any pain, no matter what part of it is touching the floor!

If, like me, you have a prominent coccyx( tailbone) and bruise a lot there when doing crunches, pilates, or yoga, this is the most comfortable mat I 've found. It does make for slightly less stability when doing anything that requires standing on a single foot( I just step off the mat for those) but I find the trade off more than worth it. I have had no durability issues, and it is going on 2 years old now. I do alternate the direction in which I roll it to prevent creasing, though that may be unnecessary on my part. Overall a great mat for comfort, and if I wear mine out, I plan to buy the same one again.

I had searched for a while for a pilates mat that was thicker and more supportive than the very thin mats that seem standard. After evaluating the very few that are at least a half an inch thick, this mat was my choice to diffuse the pain I always experience during any kind of floor work( I experience a lot of pressure on my lower back.) I was a little worried that, being such a large mat, it would n't roll up very small or would just look monstrous on the floor next to others' tiny yoga mats. But for as thick as it is this mat rolls up surprisingly well and can still be tucked under your arm. And it is really luxurious to do pilates on. It reduces the impact on my back and feels really nice under my bare feet when doing standing poses. I actually think it takes stress off the knees, because the thick mat helps absorb shock if you are using it for high impact exercises. It's no hard- core yoga mat, as some have said, but it stayed put pretty well when doing some cardio style, kicking moves. I also never thought it would be so worth it to have a LONG mat, but I 'm 5'10 and now I ca n't go back. When others were hanging off the edges of their non- mats, I could comfortably lay my head on one end and not worry about my long legs extending off my mat and hitting someone in the face:)
